You ripped him a new one for 4 paragraphs. It's all good, though, because you threw in a "not taking away anything from Brad."
Thanks for understanding I didn't mean to bash Brad in any way. I am pro-UK in a lot of categories, but the one thing I don't understand is why Brad gets more PT than the other walk-ons. However, I have mad respect for anyone that can even make it on the UK team.

My main goal when I joined RR was to avoid arguing with any fellow UK fans in a disrespectful way. I do admit that calling someone a bad reader was a little over the top, which is why I try my best to start my disagreements with "I see where you're coming from," ect.

While opinions on the Brad playing time situation vary, I respect those who believe he deserves more time on the court.

I just looked at every post in this thread and not one says he should be getting more playing time. Including mine.

Did you not notice that I stated I'm not taking away anything from Brad? Maybe the comical thing is your inability to read.

Bringing this up was kind of silly in the first place when you don’t know what Brad was doing by setting out a season.

I'm curious to get your opinion on why Brad decided to redshirt last season. If it was to get more PT for this season, that's exactly why I brought my point up. BTW, I am not trying to start any fight with you. I'd just like to hear some people's opinions on the reason he sat out in the first place.

I understand, I have heard the same thing that others have said, to gain coaching experience. I honestly don’t think with his knowledge of how his Dad recruits that he would ever think sit out and I get to play more. Good talking to you.

Lengthening the time he spends with his Dad, family, and friends...

Dude, it was a troll...use a little deductive reasoning....
Well, your troll may have made a bit of sense. Maybe Brad actually wanted to spend more time with his family. Who freakin' knows? There's probably a bunch of reasons for all we know. That's why I asked for some legit opinions.

I don’t think the troll made any sense really. But as the troll wanted, we are all overthinking something that has no story to it besides what’s already been said.

True. I applaud you for not being a troll. Your opinion was actually an honest one.

He made sense? Yeah Brad is actually thinking of leaving his Dad at UK so he red-shirted and because he may want more playing time. If that is what you want to try and justify, go ahead.... (Can I ask your age?)

Now Brad wants to leave..[eyeroll]

That is the definition of a troll...

BUT, what will come next is Cal and his wife are having issues because she wants to move out of Kentucky..watch, that will come up some time this season... Cal and wife having marriage troubles...if Cal wants to save his marriage Cal MUST take another job....Feed the trolls...

I'm just a young buck compared to some of these other posters. However, my account name is ThunderMash because of Monster Mash, so I do know a bit from older Kentucky times.

By your trolling making sense, I was talking about Brad redshirting so that he could have a fifth year to spend at UK. I don't know about redshirting to have more playing time.

Side note: "Don't lie and you do not have to remember what you said" is a great quote.

Ellen told Brad that if coach doesnt play him minimum 8 mgs a game, he should transfer. Go to Louieville... also the coach gets no Lovin' for 1 full year or until Brad is eligible to play for Louisville. Which ever comes LAST.

I have zero inside sources on the matter, but I think that if he redshirted last year that he is probably looking for more PT. With the recent addition of Juzang, I just don't see it happening. Unless he has become an elite catch-and-shoot type player, it might be in his best insterest to leave, especially given his immediate eligibility status. Thoughts?
If he was looking for more playing time he is on the wrong team, love the guy but he doesn't deserve a scholarship at UK, walk on ok but not a scholarship, just not good enough. If he was looking for PT he should have went down to the road to Richmond.

Wouldn't you tell your husband coach that? I can see the Wichita coaches wife telling her husband her son better get so many minutes...

Yeah he was banned before but seems obsessed with our validation so here he is again. Plus loneliness in his real life.

But some here want a legitimate discussion about it.[eyeroll][laughing] Sorry, that is too comical and they are nice about it too...just want to talk it through..

The heck with the premise being asinine...everyone's opinion is important and should be discussed rationally...

You got to be kidding. Do you actually think he could play at Eastern ? He couldn't even make the team as a walk on at Eastern or anywhere else. The guy has no athletic talent or basketball skills what so ever. Daddy don't coach anywhere else, which would be the only way he could even be a walk on anywhere in the country Division 1, 2 or 3, and this includes the NAIA. This doesn't make him a bad guy, he just can't play basketball.

Hey I was trying to be nice about it, I have no problem if he wants to walk on at UK since dad is the coach, but the scholarship is bull crap, we could have at least found a KY kid who would have come and played and stayed for 4 years to use that scholarship.

Being nice is not who I am. Sometimes I am right, sometimes I am wrong, but you will always get my honest opinion on how I see things.
