At his age I could have made you think I was Doron Lamb in an all-star setting. I hope people don't get remotely excited about his game.

I'm just glad he signed because it looks like Cal will be here for a while.

Yes. There are at least three pages already questioning why Brad isn't playing more ; after his explosive performance in that game. [eyeroll]
Why don't you wait and see if ANYONE posts about his game? Or do you just enjoy preemptive bitching?

I think KYboy style is old. He thinks he's one of the players sometime and his act is getting old. No cheers no booo's, the crowd at Rupp want somebody new.

I don't like Tatum, but he was like 6/14 from the field, it's not that bad! His shot selection is just pretty bad! He didn't even attempt the most shots of anyone on the court, he was not that bad tonight! Hate him because he's going to Duke, not because he attempted 14 shots in an all star game

I know a lot of us were hoping Brad would come, meaning Cal would be here for sure the next 4 years. That may very well be true, but if he plays and there's a lot of negative comments from some fans, it may very well be what drives him a way.

Brad will be treated, coached and prepared for the NBA like every other player Calipari recruits. If Brad didn't want the spotlight, didn't have NBA aspirations--he would have chosen some other place to play basketball. UK isn't for everybody.

No disrespect but I agree with your post except for the "NBA aspirations" part. I'm happy for Brad and I'm sure he'll be held accountable like the other players but the NBA is not in his future. Playing at UK for your dad has to make both of them feel great but I side with that NCAA commercial that says something to the effect that he'll go pro in something other than athletics.

Your sentence, "at his age I could have made you think..." is, well, it's not good.

Brad is here to learn about coaching as that's more than likely his calling once college is over..

Cal's own words:

To Brad "you are not going to play". Well he will play some I sleep with his mother.

Brad wants to coach. I have told him he can join in on film work, pregame prep and organization.

All sounds good to me.

My guess on BC at UK:

4 years as a player.

2 years as grad assistant

2 years as Head of Basketball Operations.

6 years as assistant coach.

Get HC job elsewhere the same year dad retires from UK.
