Makes me appreciate the bowl game Iowa earned vs. a higher rated opponent, as usual...

So for those following ex Iowa players, Nestor is of course starting and playing well for the gophs, and Keagen Johnson, (yep THAT guy) who had a bad tummy and packed his bags for KState is now WR1 for the Lobos... Small world.......

I see the replay of FSU vs Clemson is on so the Squaws can feel better about themselves playing in the post season. LoL.

He's talented. Seems like he's got a lot of potential, and yup, definitely built "sturdy." Random fun fact: his mom is from Thailand. Edit: I thought he was the first D1 Thai football player but AI says I'm wrong.

And people think MG looks like a fullback. Lolol.. check out the QB for BYU. Not only is he built like a fullback, but he wears #47! Never seen that before in modern football anyway......
Built like the Hefty Lefty at Kentucky, but at least his number (22) was closer to QB territory.

Not nearly as big as the "Pillsbury throwboy". I assume your talking about Jared Lorenzen. He was 285lbs in college. He did have a 4 year NFL career with the giants, but his heart and kidneys gave out and he passed away at the age of 38......

Lorenzen hit 300 lbs at times while at Kentucky. Aka he weighed more than our guard Kade Pieper

I didn't realize he got that heavy. He deserved this other nickname, then - Pillsbury Throwboy.
He had several great nicknames. Hefty Lefty, Pillsbury Throwboy (my fav), The Abominable Throwman, BBQ (Big Beautiful Quarterback), and the Round Mound of a Touchdown.
