They were invited and accepted. Props to both teams. Now if Iowa had been invited I would also expect them to accept. With that said I wouldn't have attended either of these bowl games.

Not nearly as big as the "Pillsbury throwboy". I assume your talking about Jared Lorenzen. He was 285lbs in college. He did have a 4 year NFL career with the giants, but his heart and kidneys gave out and he passed away at the age of 38......

He had several great nicknames. Hefty Lefty, Pillsbury Throwboy (my fav), The Abominable Throwman, BBQ (Big Beautiful Quarterback), and the Round Mound of a Touchdown.
