Correct me if I'm wrong, but FSU is currently tied with Nebraska for the all-time longest streak of consecutive bowl games at 35 (Nebraska's ended in 2003). This move likely will let them take sole possession of the crown:
FSU has rescheduled its home game with Louisiana-Monroe for Dec. 2. The game was originally slated for Sept. 19 but pushed back due to Hurricane Irma. In a surely unrelated note, Florida State is 3-5 and would otherwise need to win at No. 4 Clemson to keep its NCAA-record 35-year bowl streak alive if this game was not rescheduled.
