Man, that Duke's Mayo Bowl sounds exciting. I see it's in Charlotte. Did it use to be the Belk Bowl? Actually that's not a bad destination, but that sponsor name is just horrible for a bowl game.

Notre Damn or Clemson would be great for us for a number of reasons. Lots of publicity around both programs.

I lean toward this being a Memphis, Charlotte, or Birmingham year for us. We very recently were in Nashville, I don't expect the Florida bowls to have a ton of interest in us unless we have a crazy strong finish, and it's rare year for Houston where they will have all three of A&M, LSU, and Arkansas to choose from most likely, gotta think they end up with one of those three.

We haven't been to the Liberty Bowl since '13 and the bowl in Charlotte since '15. Have never played in the Birmingham Bowl but if my math is correct there will probably need to be 11 bowl eligible SEC teams for B'ham to be in play for anybody. Certainly not out of the question, but there hasn't been an SEC team in that bowl game since 2016 due to lack of available teams.

Texas Bowl is also on Tuesday, Jan 4, making it very difficult for fans to get to as work/school will have started back.
