There’s talent all over this team. Boston is one of them. Don’t blame the kids. Blame the stubborn ego maniacal psychopath screaming at them from the top of his lungs on the sideline.

Yes. Its the coaches job to put these guys in a position to succeed. Cal does a piss poor job of that. Boston just looks plain lost on offense and forces a lot of bad shots

I think if he played more team basketball it would make him look better. So many times he just dribbles out-of-control into the lane and throws up a brick. I think he has the skill, just needs to be unselfish

Guys like that, they think the next shots’ gonna fall. They keep throwing them up there. Don’t know this dude very well but if it’s true he’s going around campus with his own film crew then that’s all I need to know about him and what he’s after.
Great players, if their shot isn’t falling, find other ways to contribute to the team. His best contribution was taking a seat next to Tony Barbee.

That’s because Boston has a low basketball IQ! He can’t get into a flow of a offense because he jacks up bad shots constantly! He’s just plain ignorant when he steps onto the floor!

Although this is Cal’s fault for not benching him, Boston is the one out there jacking up bad shots left and right.

Boston is maybe the most frustrating and biggest mystery since Cal has been here. I saw him play numerous times in high school. He looks nothing like he did last year. He absolutely looked like he could be the #1 overall pick in the draft pre UK. All the shots he misses here, he was making before he got here. His handle was extraordinary and he played within the team concept. He torched Jalen Suggs last year.

There’s no way that kid is from Georgia.

That state should be embarrassed. But they have no shame, we saw that November 3rd, especially after midnight.

Thank Sweet Jesus Cal didn’t recruit Mashburn Jr. That dude might be worse than Boston.

It’s obvious from his demeanor and selfish play that he’s been told how great he is too many times. He is already one of my least favorite players we’ve had here

Lol at the suggestion Cal broke his shot and caused his amnesia with how to dribble.

Have any of you ever played college ball? I did - at a level much lower than Kentucky. It can be a tough adjustment. For every Jamal Murray or Malik Monk who is good from the first game, there are many kids who need time to settle in. The oddness with Covid didn’t help.

There’s still every chance he’ll have a game where he hits his first couple shots, he relaxes and the light goes on.

We’ll need him if this team is to make any sort of run at the tournament. Just need the light bulb to come on.

Maybe just maybe he will stay. I know the odds are low but with the talk of this board why would he? We want guys to stay so we have depth, but every guy who needs to or will we trash every year. I hope he breaks out soon. I’ll still support the kid.

14 a game to be exact

He just needs to learn how to play within himself. So far he is still playing like an AAU star and playing for draft position. Needs to let the game come to him. I believe it will come and he will still lead the team in scoring. Allen will get 25 minutes a game and he and Clark will open the lane for Boston and maybe Brooks to attack the rim.

I have seen none of the attitude that some people are referencing from Boston. These are a bunch of good kids. Boston just doesn’t know how to play outside the high school/ AAU environment. He does need to sit and watch some instead of Cal insisting that he stay out there. I bet if his attitude is what I hope it is that watching from the bench in OT last night showed him some things. Don’t blame the kids. Blame the guy making 9 million a year to COACH them.

Cal refuses to put a player on the bench, when he has touted him to be great, and a Top 10 draftee for the NBA, after his Freshman year. Cal's ego is to big, to admit he is wrong. He would sacrifice UK, instead of making the changes, that need to be made. Putting Boston on the bench, until he learns this is a TEAM game, not just his chance to impress the NBA, would be a good start. I will not hold my breath to see if that happens. Listening to him after the Miss State game was just BS. He basically took credit for the win. If he had not been ejected, there is no way we would have won. Him jumping up and down, and screaming like an idiot, does not help the team. You do that **** in practice, not the game.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!
