Waiting to see how @Smashcat spins this into a positive ...
I am going to try to spin a positive. UK fans will not have to be bombarded with "basketball experts" telling us all summer about how great the class coming in is and how we got the best big man in the transfer portal. Which was suppose to transfer to Final Four Baby. Or as MJ said, the third best team since Caliapri got to Lexington.

Well maybe they will say it but only a fool will be buying it.

He is a little boy going to play with grown men. Oh my, it’s gonna get ugly for him in a hurry.

I mean, good luck to him. I hope he makes millions and lives out his life on easy street.

However, not every highly rated recruit has what it takes to have an NBA career. Guess we'll see.

Cal used to say he had to make guys leave that wanted to come back.
I’d love to know the conversation he had with Boston.

I hope not for his sake but believe he will be in Europe in 3 years or less. He’s one that for sire would benefit from another year or two in college. That’s one of the things they don’t talk to these guys enough about in my opinion....they meaning league staff and agents. In other words, you will get drafted but you need another year or two to get stronger, quicker and more skilled. The difference in that year or two is a 10 year NBA career or a 3 year NBA career and 6 or 7 years of international ball.

I find it interesting that there will ultimately be tiers to the players who come here now, to think that as fans we will dislike players Who come here is baffling but it's part of the mess Calipari has made. Like Boston was garbage all year, last game he was in gave us a whopping 0 points but didn't quit early in the season on the team so hes like a D tier. Clarke on the other hand is whatever the most bottom tier ever is.

And our fan base trashes another Kentucky basketball player that’s barely more than a kid.

You're totally right, and it does bother me. There are some fans on here (the proverbial pumpers) who go on about not dogging players, and I get it. We all get it. But it's completely disingenuous for us all to act like we don't feel the way we do about this.

It's not hard folks. A guy like John Wall or Anthony Davis we understand. A guy like Daniel Orton or Boston, we don't. It's dumb. And there needs to be a minor league so guys who just want to go play ball after high school can do it. They aren't wrong for wanting that. But it is absolutely killing college basketball.

Stop it. No one has trashed him. But many have pointed out, correctly i might add, that you have a guy who was barely functional as college basketball player declaring for the draft and hiring an agent. It’s a damn joke at this point.

0 zero points against Miss St, he is absolutely ready for the NBA. Probably already on All Rookie team. Guess Cal gets to go to Green Room. Player First University certainly Not a KY Wildcat Team first university. Can't make a layup in traffic, bunch of BS. I need to find another team to follow.
Never that.

Just need to get this washed up, used car salesman of a coach far away from Lexington and then the rebuild of Kentucky basketball can begin.

But we knew it was coming, and not because it's sensible, but because nothing at UK is sensible anymore. We're the only program in the country where we can predict that we'll lose guys every year who aren't ready. Now they're leaving us for the G-League.

Think about that. We're a laughing stock and Cal has completely whored out the program.

Like being excited and making threads that “Ware is returning”? Wtf? Like that should be a forgone conclusion lol.

and many don’t even realize it. We fully expect now to lose our entire damn team every single year and the Calipari regime thinks it’s all hunky-dorey.

Again, majority of them defend him so staunchly for other (glaringly apparent) reasons.

This is good news..we know from Cal that we had players doing their own thing..our cancers are gone..it was one or more of Boston, Clarke, Sarr, Jackson, and or Fletcher..now Cal needs to replace them with high-level transfers
