So let's see if we got this right..

We've got a dookie here who says done deal to Duke. We have Kentucky fans (who have proven to have a lot of credibility in the past with recruiting) saying done deal to Kentucky.

The dookies think they have Bolden locked up solely based on the comments that he was making 2 weeks ago, now we have Kentucky fans saying we have Bolden locked up based on the comments he was making yesterday. (Again, along with some info from people who have insider information).

If people know, it's a very, very select few who know. I find it incredibly difficult to believe that Duke has him "locked up" though, when only this past Sunday, Duke sent 4 assistants down there to give Bolden the "just trust me" sales pitch. You don't tell a kid that you have "locked up" to trust you, they already should if they're committing to your school, and it surely doesn't take 4 assistants to do it.
The Thornton controversy is supposedly playing a role in all of this as well with Bolden's parents, which isn't far-fetched. Any parent will be turned off by seeing another kid being lied to by the same coach that's recruiting your son this hard.

UK has a much better record of putting big men at the top of the NBA draft. Feeling better about Bolden than I did a couple weeks ago. Man, wish Tyler Ulis had come back. Might have been that 40-0 team. LOL

HEY. Dook fans. How sexy does this look????

De'Aaron Fox
Malik Monk
Derrick Willis
Bam Adebayo
Marques Bolden

Isaiah Briscoe
Wenyen Gabriel
Sacha Killeya Jones
Marcus Lee
Dominique Hawkins
Isaac Humphries
Charles Mathews
Tai Wynyard.

Compared to.........

Frank Jackson
Gayson Allen
Jayson Tatum
Amile Jefferson
Harry Giles

Matt Jones
Luke Kennard
Chase Jeter
Javin Delaurier
Jack White
Antonio Vrankovic
Sean Obi
Justin Robinson

Yeah. Its pretty obvious who's the better team. Don't get me wrong. Y'all are going to be good. But we're the better, more talented team. All you have on us is 2 good scoring guards coming off the bench when we'll just have 1. But you don't have a single PF/C coming off the bench who's worth a damn and we have Lee, SKJ, and Gabriel so.......LOL I'd bet y'all' would love to just have Humphries wouldn't ya?

Ah it'll be him leaving or Wynyard leaving or something. Mulder is just my guess. I don't see Lee going anywhere. Wouldn't even really surprise me if Mathews transferred.
Tai ain't going anywhere. It is Lee or Mulder IMO there is basically no chance of it being Tai as he is living his dream. Kinda like when people kept saying willis would transfer when the kid is living the dream. IMO Lee is gone .

That's exactly what I said over on TOS. You don't see something like that happen if a kid if already committed and just waiting to announce. That's either a desperation move or an attempt to seal the deal. But I doubt the kid was already a blue devil before then.

I am however still skeptical that UK will be the choice because as others have pointed out, no one else in the industry seems to have picked up on this pro UK.

I have no inside info on tai, but it's not entirely up to the kid. If cal wants him out, guarantee he'll be out.

2 things totally wrong with that A. Cal would never have a kid come from another country after setting it up for him to arrive early and then kick him to the curb. Cal went very out of his way to recruit this kid lets not forget. B. Cal isn't kicking anyone out. period. Lee might want to move on , or Mulder might see he ain't playing a lick next year , which he ain't ect but Cal will not make anyone leave as that is the exact opposite the kind of coach Cal is . Obviously Cal knows something is going down or we wouldn't be after Bolden . But Tai has a long great Uk career ahead of him but he won't see much time , like Willis , til he 3rd year which will be his redshirt sophomore year. The kid said himself if he needs to wait a few years he is ok with that as he knows Cal will get him to the league when it is time.

Cal isn't pushing Tai out the door.

If u think Duke got bad press for recruiting a junior then forcing him out, just imagine the heat UK would get for recruiting a junior from freaking New Zealand, then forcing him out.

No, nothing is wrong with that, beyond you not reading closely enough. I said IF cal wants a kid gone, the kid will be gone. Point blank period. As far as cal not being "that" type of coach...all I can say is that tells me you don't have much of an idea of what happens behind the scenes at major D1 basketball programs, including UK. There are multiple players at uk under Cal that were strongly suggested to leave. Anyone close to the program can confirm.
