Well he would be joining Jefferson and Jeter up front. PT will be an issue there altho Jefferson is really a four. Gonna be a log jam.

They got our last year's title and imo they could easily go 40-0 next year. Certainly won't lose more than 1/2.

Hopefully, Hump will come into his own next year. He could be our answer down low.

It's not over yet. With Cal, all things are possible. Jamal Murray was a LOCK to go to Oregon according to the experts, but he chose UK. All of the chatter was that he was heading to Oregon. He picks UK. Sometimes these kids make up their own minds.

Bolden is good friends with Fox and Monk. We have that on our side. We have an immediate opening in the post as well. There is no way that Bolden is scared to play with Humphries and Wynyard.

Hump our answer down low..lol. And poytress is gonna be a beast next year too..
This little troll thinks he's funny. Someone pat him on the head, lie to him, and tell him he's doing a good job. His comedy routine is laying an egg right now. He can't be over 15.

LoL. Somebody has to be honest around here and keep it light. I'm guessing you have season tickets and sit on your *** the whole game too? Figures

post I made yesterday on another board:

everyone been picking Duke lately for Bolden, but it just makes sense to me that he picks UK.

- Dude was rumored to wanna commit to UK back last fall and Cal asked him to wait.
- Cal's the best recruiter in the country.
- UK has a fairly GLARING need for a post up big man.
- Cal's success with bigs is unmatched in the college game.
- Bolden just spent 4 days getting battered with pro UK propaganda from the other 4 recruits in Chicago.
- His AAU coach and primary mentor other than his parents also coached Julius Randle and is very pro-Calipari.
- He said he's talked to a few of UK's former players about what it's like to play at UK (may have done this for Duke... most likely did).

Everything that makes rational sense points to UK other than education. His parents want Duke based on that and even Bolden admitted "it's because they never played sports and don't see things the way I do" meaning he's not in agreement with them.

In the end I think he makes the decision he's been wanting to make all along and picks UK.

I think UK gets Bolden, returns Briscoe and Lee, and we go into the summer all :boxing:
Good points, I agree. I will add, his high school coach is pushing Duke as well.

Drew Franklin just talked about why he made the Duke pick on the Crystal Ball. Didn't reveal his source, but said if he was going to announce a month ago, it was Duke 100%, but for all he knows Bolden could have changed his mind since then. Said he does change his mind a lot. I wonder if maybe Jefferson coming back is a factor. I can't see K starting Bolden over a returning 5 yr Sr, who started last season before he got hurt.

But last year, we had a glaring need for a 3 and/or SG, but Brown went to California and Newman went to Miss St. And we had similar needs in previous years and came up short. For some weird reason kids are not taking that stuff into account when they make heir decisions.

Did he talk about what he heard or knew from a month ago that led him to say Duke?

That's interesting. A month ago Duke insiders thought he was all UK.

He said it was in regards to "how" he was going to supposedly make his announcement. I'm wondering if it goes along with the "custom Duke shoe" theory posted in another thread.

I heard that too. It's interesting that he hasn't committed yet though. Perhaps he has had second thoughts. Because since then, Jefferson has applied for his medical redshirt and it's been rumored that Capel may leave. I don't know squat but it is entirely possible that those things have changed his mind.
