Freshmen, especially in FB, especially at a position like DL, OL, LB, End...you are better off going MAC or one of the Big Ten Farm Teams, get built up, get playing time, make some scratch and then bolt for a real school.

That should be an NCAA thing. Why pay anyone who hasn't proven themselves on the field? There's been plenty of 4 and 5 star busts. It would make recruiting more equal too. Deep pocket schools wouldn't have as big of advantage buying players..
