I'd be surprised if there are more than a few thousand fans there at least for our first game. The question is will many go see the marquee matchup against Arizona? With the game after it in Atlanta, I would guess most fans will hope we beat Arizona and wait for the next one. Probably will be outnumbered with Arizona nearly half the distance.

Let's beat Davidson before thinking about Arizona. It's not a given.

Well since I am not suiting up for the Cats I think it is alright to plan ahead with who I think we will play.

Lol exactly. I never understood that thinking.

I’m not suiting up. I don’t have to worry about Davidson.

Truth is yeah they are a good 12 seed but we still have a 75-80% chance of advancing past them.

Norman Dale says that the condition of tournament play is not to talk about the next step until you've climbed the first.

Probably true but the 12/5 is the historically the matchup with the most upsets. I just remember too many times when we've been heavy favorites and lost, i.e., Middle Tennessee in 1982, UAB in 1981, etc.

Really? Nice place, San Diego. Great nude beach. Great Mexican (you can buy a yard man for about 50 pesos) Butthole, Idaho, not so much.

Yeah but it’s also infinitely closer for Arizona. Teams that have to travel less perform better in the tournament

And we don’t need them to have an advantage as little as it may be.

Coach Cal hasn't lost to a team worse than 1 seed lower than us since he has been at Kentucky. The only time it has happened was against IU in the 4 vs 5 game. So I feel pretty confident we will win it.

I think we win but we can't take anyone lightly.

I think we were a five a month before the SECT, as Lunardi said earlier. Didn't mean one thing winning 7 of our last 8.

You were absolutely correct. Barnie wasn't in the room, alright. Because it all happened on a conference call a month ago. He wasn't involved.

Non-stop flights for the team. One is the same as the other. Except we would have more fans in SD than Potatoland, which has NO nonstops, and limited every thing. Lots of flights, hotel options. Who would chose Idaho over SD???

I’m just saying the great disparity in distance between the two teams in question, the better off the team with the shorter distance performs. This is based on tournament history.

Obviously I would never argue Boise is better than SD for any other reason. I been to SD. Loved it. Never been to Boise and have no intentions on going.

I’m just speaking from history

Lunardi had us at a five during the four game losing streak. Nothing changed, however, had this been Duke or UNC I guarantee they would've moved up.

I think we win but don't think it'll be a blow out. We're only a 5.5 point favorite which isn't much.
