Wilson also is the real deal, said Royce Boehm, head coach at Lee's Summit West, which was 50-5 from 2010-13, including a state championship in 2013. Wilson started at right guard for that team.

Although the 6-2, 277-pound Wilson, like Bootle rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com, played tackle last season, he will move to center for his senior season and projects as an interior lineman in college, Boehm said.

Boehm's son, Evan Boehm, has started 40 straight games in the interior of Missouri's offensive line.

"I'm probably not the guy to say who's better, because you know where my favoritism is going to go," Royce Boehm said. "But I'm telling you, Boe could be every bit of what Evan is. Boe is a player. Once that cat locks onto you, you had better look out, because you're going for a ride."

Wilson also has scholarship offers from Indiana, Kansas, Purdue, South Dakota, South Dakota State and Western Illinois. Missouri has been recruiting him but hasn't offered a scholarship.

"Every college that walks in here, they say, 'This kid has a little Evan Boehm in him,'" the elder Boehm said.

Pretty sure that I read somewhere he is a Kansas fan, taking Mizzou and K State out of the picture. I also read last night Missouri was pursuing him, but the feeling wasn't mutual.
