I really don’t care what happens with the G-League. I am not worried about it’s effects on college basketball. It will survive in some form. As long as there are teams representing universities with fans (students, alumni, etc.) there will be college basketball.

I’m more worried about the pandemic stealing college basketball than the G-League.

they should start thinking about starting the season in mid january after the bowls and go until may.

i dont think anyone is suggesting it wont exist. it is just likely going to suck and the only people who will be interested is die hard fans. and its not a sport that will bring in new/young people.

It certainly won’t suck anymore than it does now. Is college basketball really going to suck next year because Nix and Jalen Green decided not to play college basketball lol?

the NBA, who brings in 10B a year. how much does UK bring in to pay for its basketball costs? is it 10B?

UK doesnt need to it sells tickets and receives TV revenue and doesnt pay salaries. The G league pay scale just went way up so we'll see how long the NBA wants to cover those costs with little revuen coming in to off set it.
