What are you guys' thoughts on Bowlsby as a Commisioner?

I think that he works for the presidents of the universities who run the conference and that he does a pretty good job.

He is obviously not needed, he isn't even the spokesperson for the conference, Boren is. If the Big12 is to have a future it needs stronger leadership and Bowlsby's not the man.

Bowlsby very clearly takes orders from UT and OU well before he even begins to consider the other schools.

The utility of his job aside, today's vote had nothing to do with Bowlsby. He is managing the conference the best he can. The board is what voted to EXPLORE expansion. They never indicated they were going to. They got the information they needed and moved that they're better off at 10. Boren showed he shouldn't be the face of the conference by running his mouth about expansion. Bowlsby did nothing wrong and this does not warrant him needing to resign.

All Bowlsby can do in regards to expansion is lay out the pro's and the con's. Its the university presidents who make the final decision. He can't hold a gun to there heads

If anyone should have their feet held to the fire, it should be Boren. He started this whole mess. Bowlsby has done fine considering we came from a conference with Marinatto (marinara) and Tranghese.
