Just finished Bob's book. It is a must read for all University Presidents and Athletic Directors. One learns the importance of navigating NJ politics in order to be a successful AD at Rutgers. His thoughts regarding the issues facing the NCAA are really insightful and scary. It also becomes clear that based on the Flood and Ash eras Greg Schiano was the only person to consider for the Rutgers Head Football Coach position.
I encourage everyone to read: An Athletic Director's Story and the Future of College Sports in America.
I have known Bob for 50 years. While opinions of Bob may differ, his integrity and commitment to student-athletes can not be questioned.
