Is there a better place to talk Rutgers hoops right now than this board. Man the 3rd page starts off just short of 10PM last night. Two entire pages of threads from all different posters and different discussions. This going back to the glory days of this board during Waters. And considering other forms of social media like facebook and twitter exist, its very impressive how active this board is. This has to be one of the most active college hoops board in all of rivals when we are winning. Any stats on that?

The Knight Report is clearly the place to be if you are a Rutgers hoops fans. Thanks to Richie and all the guys for keeping this up and running smoothly when the split happened. What an amazing community of posters and fans and this is just the beginning.

It’s sure been great this year. Next year I expect this board to gain momentum. It’s been fun.

Was there ever any doubt that once we started winning this board would explode. This isn't Nebraska where 15000 fans show up every night for a 6-21 team

Can't remember the last time I looked at the other site. I have rediscovered my love of college hoops this season, even with some of the gut punches along the way. They just make the big wins that much sweeter.

Now if we could only bring back the original WRSU Knight Line after every game.

Honestly, I almost never paid attention in the past b/c RU was never in it, but you need a website and more recognition. You work too hard to only get credit from us.

Hi Richie,

Many are on the premium side. Maybe DeAnte could contribute to the conversation here. He could always put premium links in substantive posts so long as he gets folks know they are premium.

The Round Table has some good hoops posts and more under your leadership (kudos).

Still,this board brings together Rutgers and other fans and is the hub of Rutgers basketball dialogue in part because it is an open forum. That's been true for a very long time. I encourage you to build around this opportunity rather than trying to change it.

That other site is a mess.

Not as much participation there on premium, plus they did away with all the free boards because no one was posting in them, so they combined them all into ONE board.

To make it look not as bad, they mirror a few premium threads on free board so it's not a barren wasteland.

I like the guys that run that site so no joy in seeing them lose this battle. But you have to hand it to Richie. He was the underdog here but the combination of Rivals infrastructure and his team's hard work paid off.

There was a post over there talking about how the Maryland board had such a longer game thread. Someone posted saying TOS has a lot of traffic in game threads. I was going to make a post how the best bball discussion is easily here but didn't think it was appropriate to advertise another site there but it's true

John is a good guy and deserves major praise for building this community here but made a huge blunder in assuming everyone would just jump. People love routine, do not like change. TOS graphics were 90s style and it needed to be a smooth transition. Rivals message board style is our home. If you are not offering a better place to live then its pretty easy to stay where you have lived for decades. That was fatal IMO. I am not a big premium board guy. When I had membership my posting there wasnt all that much...and its just because I am not really into the recruiting aspect. I understand that alot of others are so there are definitely enough sites where people can seek out that information. That is what is great about RU now, we have so much interests that a whole bunch of different sites can do their own thing and get their clicks. Options for everyone and the style they want but honestly there is no better place than here. I love the amount of different posters we have starting threads this past season. More voices the better.
