I don't really buy his story. Pope isn't one to get in public squabbles, so I doubt he'll prove the dip wrong. Apparently a lot don't buy it. I don't think for a second Pope focused on the money.

Agree. If this story were true, why did he give a dollar range and not the actual offer number, and why bring it up now?
