Blue likes the outside strike.

Calling them closer to the white lines than the black of the plate. Yet, doing so for both teams so far.

How do you feel about our hitti.... I mean batting so far? I am starting to wonder what Lemonis and staff worked on in Fall and January with the hitt....err....batters?

Our approach at the plate is like a men’s slow pitch team....

Who knew we would miss Jake this bad? We knew it was going to be tough... didn't know it'd be THIS tough. Rowdy needs his eye-black back... I'm not a baseball junkie... are we just swinging for the fences? Seems like base-hits are better than the long ball, but who am I?

A lot of first pitch swinging pop-ups for sure.

Buttermaker needs to put the bottle down.

We're now down 3 and none of their hits have been bombs... It's amazing what happens when you just put the ball in play.

“Knew it was going to be tough”?

3 Baseball publications had us pre-season Top 15 with one of them picking us 6. This ain’t about Jake or Ginn. Either they were very over-rated or they are very under-performing. I prefer the latter to be the case. I think this team has the “talent” to be a Top 10 team. They aren’t facing great pitching from Texas Southern or Quinnipiac. They are simply not performing at the plate....Yet.
