Has a Cal coached UK team ever blown out a power 5 conference team? Serious question. I can’t think of one.

Ok ok. Guess it’s just been a while and I’ve gotten used to playing to our opponents’ level. Oh and rupp is still the worst.

Go to Rupp when it is meaningful game with a big name opponent. Kansas , UNC, Louisville. You will change you mind. Nowhere better than Rupp under those circumstances.
Last season alone we beat the following in blowout fashion:
@ Georgia by 20
22 ranked Mississippi State by 21
@Vandy by 35
South Carolina by 28
#1 Tennessee by 17
Auburn by 27
Alabama by 18
So 7 times last year alone. Try harder next time if you are wanting to troll.

I will agree with this to an extent. Yeah, we are able to create an awesome atmosphere for big games but where is the support when we're struggling against subpar teams? People who act like giving the student section sideline seats would be a crime against humanity blow my mind.

If you think Rupp is awesome you probably thought Billy Gillispie was the answer for UK also. “But it’s great for one game a year!!!” GTFO with that garbage

Was KU a power 5 team in 2015? or most every other team on that schedule. As has been pointed out Cal teams have blown out many opponents and Rupp is like any other Arena the bigger the game the better the atmosphere

We see other Arena's when UK is there and free pizza, beer, chips, hookers The rest of the time their Arena's are 70% empty and quiet as a church mouse

TONS of times. Think of all the games that Polson or Brad came in for the last few minutes.

Which is funny, though, because I can't remember the last time that has happened. Definitely feels like it's been a year or two.

I guess I’m just used to playing down to inferior teams’ levels. It’s become the norm. The rare (since 2015) comfortable victory is nice though. Yay

Maybe cheer for another team ? And / or stop posting ? If I had my choice, it would be stop posting. If think everyone involved would benefit from it. You are lame, and a terrible troll. Not one damn poster thinks you are funny, or agrees with any of your nonsense, drivel you post.

Have you ever posted something positive about Cal? I guess you want to go back to the 11 years before Cal when UK never came close to making a final four.

Posted without thinking, no doubt.

But it is later in the season for a game like last night. It’s been the norm for many of Cal’s team to have sub-par first halves then turn it around after halftime, but usually in December.

So this year has been a little different. They didn’t turn it around against Evansville and now this in almost February.

To me, just speaks to the much smaller margin of error for this team. Thankfully they can shoot FTs.

Since 2000, picking only bigger name schools and anything over 10 points as a "blowout". If you want to go back further and widen the scope, there are many, many more examples.
  • UNC***
    • 2000: 93-76 UK, in Chapel Hill
    • 2001: 79-59 UK, in Lexington
    • 2002: 98-81 UK, in Chapel Hill
    • 2014: 84-70 UK, in Lexington
  • KU
    • 2011: 75-65 UK, in NY
    • 2014: 72-40 UK, in Indy
  • UCLA
    • 2014: 83-44 UK, in Chicago
    • 2017: 86-75 UK, in Memphis (NCAA tourney)
  • Mich St
    • 2016: 69-48 UK, in NY
  • Dook
    • Though we lead the overall series 12-10, we haven't had any blowout wins since 1969 (98-76 in Lexington)
    • They've had the better of UK since our title in 1978, winning 8 of 10.
    • That's going to turn around once Ratface doesn't get the benefit of all the calls and the winks from the NCAA
  • Indiana (LOL)
    • 2000: 88-74 UK, in Louisville
    • 2001: 66-52 UK, in Indy
    • 2003: 80-41 UK, in Indy
    • 2004: 73-58 UK, in Louisville
    • 2008: 72-54 UK, in Lexington
    • 2009: 90-73 UK, in Bloomington
    • 2010: 81-62 UK, in Lexington
    • 2012: 102-90 UK, in Atlanta (NCAA tourney)
  • Florida
    • 2000: 85-70 UK, in Lexington
    • 2003: 70-55 UK, in Lexington
    • 2004: 82-62 UK, in Lexington
    • 2004: 89-73 UK, in Atlanta (SEC tourney)
    • 2010: 89-77 UK, in Gainesville
    • 2011: 70-54 UK, in Gainesville
    • 2012: 78-58 UK, in Lexington
    • 2012: 74-59 UK, in Gainesville
    • 2015: 67-50 UK, in Lexington
    • 2015: 64-49 UK, in Gainesville
    • 2016: 80-61 UK, in Lexington
    • 2017: 76-66 UK, in Lexington

May be in the minority but I tend to take what Cal says about the team as reality early in the season and from get go about this group, he said don't expect any blowouts. He doesn't think they are mature enough or capable but usually that's when a coach knows his bench can't give him enough to properly rest certain players and that's exactly how things have played out.

Go root for someone else! You sound like a miserable person. A win is a win, if you win by 1 in the national championship or 28, the result is the same. Seriously go root for someone else! This post might be the dumbest thing I have ever seen.

How long have you been a fan? How old are you?

And there are a bunch more by 15-20 pts which still counts as a blow out . Beyond silly post by OP . I am hoping he was under the influence when he post it .
