i am surprised that Blankenship was not given another chance at the college level. Not as a head coach but as an assistant. He did a good job in that position and other head coach failures, like Phil Bennett, have been given assistant jobs. It will be interesting to see what he can do at Fayettville. He was a very good high school coach and won two state titles in a row over Jenks before leaving. Would have been interesting if he had stayed. I don't hate him and I wish him luck.
