Great job by the staff, this should've been a slam dunk for ISU. Huge pick up, I really like this kid. He could really blow up with a big senior season.
I agree! I mean, I'll pose this to anyone reading: Do we all think he would have probably been a 4 star recruit if he hadn't missed his entire junior year with a hip injury? Because his highlights from the Friday Night Lights camp were really, REALLY exciting.
Also, he's being recruited as a big-*** OLB; the kind that can walk up and act as a DE, or just rush the passer from the OLB spot. He's already 255 lbs, so my thought is you actually don't want him to get a whole lot bigger or he's just going to wind up being a DE in the end. The staff has told him they want him to basically be like Trev Alberts was.
Where do we all see him landing in terms of playing?
I love getting top players from Iowa. Next years crop is supposedly very good. I hope the momentum keeps going!

IMHO, both Blaise and Nash are significantly underrated at the moment.
Hope he'll be as good as a few other D-End's that came out of Iowa a few decades back!

Not sure if this means anything but Xavier watts commented on Blaise post about committing. Granted I could just be reading into things, but to me it says these 2 are pretty close/ friends. Do they really know each other that well just from the recruiting process, camps ect? Or have they been talking and getting close since they will both end up being Nebraska recruits?
Looking at the Rivals numbers, if NU had 14 commits of the same quality instead of 7, the Rivals score would be 1380 which would place NU inside the top 20.
Hopefully, he will be such a great pass rusher that he will be known as “Blaze Gunnerson”
My prediction a couple of years in advance: Nebraska vs. Iowa. The ball is snapped Crash Nutmasher picks up the center and flings him into the quarterback. Gunnerson slams the back as he tries to pick up the fumble. Pola-Gates picks up the loose ball and runs it in for a Touchdown, Touchdown, Touchdown Huskers.
