Do we see the new alt (Blackshirts unis) this week for the Illinois game?.. I thought they showed worthiness to break em out next week.. What say you?
What ‘s with some of you people, Nebraska isn’t playing at home this week they have to wear White jerseys in champaign.
From my understanding they have an away version of this but I may be wrong..
SF said that wouldn’t happen till next year with having both uniforms available...
All grey? From my understanding they have an away version of this but I may be wrong..
Yep, like if we lock Illinois down, then OSU hangs 60 on us.Since we already have a thread on the 3rd uniform and I’m talking about this for next year not this year..
I have a concern that SF mentioned that if in a game the defense played well enough to earn the right for the team to decide or the defense decides to wear them for the next game..
My concern is the game they would wear them and the defense would get boat raced or not play up to the standard of wearing them...
This Initial thinking could back fire and end up with egg on their face so too speak.
Fear of Failure?Yep, like if we lock Illinois down, then OSU hangs 60 on us.

Even if they don't get a waiver from the NCAA and unless the rules have changed in the last decade or so, I believe the penalty for the offending team is the loss of a timeout. There is one other option but I doubt it will even be discussed between the schools.
Nebraska could ask permission from Illinois to be allowed to wear black uniforms and Illinois could wear their Orange uniforms. Of course both schools would have to petition the NCAA for permission as well.
It's a possibility allbeit a long shot.
Technically you're only an offending team if the away team jersey doesn't contrast well (byu-blue utah-red) or if the opposite team doesn't wear white.Even if they don't get a waiver from the NCAA and unless the rules have changed in the last decade or so, I believe the penalty for the offending team is the loss of a timeout.
Worth it?
