I do think one positive thing about this whole KB saga that is not getting mentioned up to this point is that Coach Cal has seemed to modify his recruiting strategy and target both the multi year high school kids and the more experienced grad transfers.

This is a departure from even a couple years ago. And it is one that I welcome and think will have very positive effects for UK.

I would love to get KB. Think he would really have a unique featured position in the starting rotation next year. Not gonna fret over it tho. More important to me is that Cal is adjusting to a slightly new recruiting strategy where the entire season isn’t dependent on getting those top 5 guys.

Sounds like good news , I was kinda worried about Howard and Michigan if he visited . I think he cometh .

Wow, lots of smoke for UT. Never dreamed that would even be an option given his stated desires. He basically said he wanted certain things in a program, and then chose one that gave him none of those things.

No way he goes to UT.. He'll be at Ky starting at the 5 with Richards as a backup. Montgomery and Sestina will handle the 4. We're gonna be really good!

I know Cal said the right thing when he stated that we're good either way, I just hope he didn't say that to KB, because these kids want to feel like they’re wanted.

Again, I understand why Cal said it, I just hope he didn't put it that way to KB, because in my opinion, we aren't fine at the 5 spot if we don't land KB.

Losing this guy to UT would be a swift kick to the groin, there is nothing that UT can do to get KB to the NBA and UK would be the favorite to win the title, PLUS, Cal puts more guys in the NBA than any other coach.

This should be a no brainer. If KB goes to UT, he's guaranteed himself a spot on jumbo jet heading overseas next year.

Well good thing nothing appears to be happening .UT fans have acted confident so some how the the UK fans who aren't confident are worrying not a single person in the business or any of our insiders have said he is going to UT . NOt a one . So why worry about that ? Hell not that I like Daniels at all but he even said it wasn't between UK and UT suggesting UF might still be in it . It would be shocking if we didn't get him. We will still be a top 2 team without him so no big deal but not sure how UK fans couldn't feel good about this.

I read that Daniel's quote to mean one of the teams mentioned may not be in it at all...

Also we shouldn't forget UT doesn't even have a scholarship for him. I have feeling despite the noise UT fans are making it is a UF vs UK battle still.

Then you read things in the most insane negative way possible as there is no way anyone could read it like that reasonable. If it was a 1 team race Daniels would say " the decision has been made " ect . I mean come on . [laughing]

Get so tired of the portion of our fan base who take every little thing and turn it negative .

How I read it as well and hopefully UK is not the one out of it. But some have read on UT premium board that Daniels feels it is UT.

If we don’t get KB I’m definitely going to scratch my head. Recruiting is so strange these days. Five or six years ago this kid would have already committed to Kentucky. We pretty much got whoever we wanted. I mean Tennessee is really an option?

I apologize if I am coming off as a jerk but I get soooo tired of people just taking the most negative view on everything . It is a common thing on this board and tiring . I wish people would look at things realistically. Could he go to UT ? Sure . Would it make a lick of sense ? No . UF makes sense . UK makes sense. UT doesn't as they have nothing he wants . And there is no way a rational person could read that comment and think " UK is out of it " That comment was very clear - it is not a 2 team race . But so be it . Believe what you want . No hard feelings.

Doesn’t appear to be good for UK anymore. UT smoke is getting stronger and stronger. Some people are just realistic. Doesn’t make them negative. Anyone who has been following this morning knows the tide appears to be turning.

I agree and we will know tomorrow . I suspect , and this is totally speculation , that UT will end up 3rd and it will UK or UF . It is wild how UT fans and make believe they have created ( like how Matt jones said he was going to UT which never happened) have created this narrative to make people think they are the favorite. We got the last visit . We were the only school in home with him 2 months ago . We have everything he wants . Do the math. BUT you never know ultimately .

We will know in 24 hours but I think you are incorrect . I have yet to see any evidence UT is the favorite. That comment was clearly saying it wasn't a 2 team race . And if it was a 1 team race Daniels would of said " he has made his decision " Some people dismantle every little thing and try to paint it negative when in reality any of the non UT board stuff at best makes it sound like he hasn't made up his mind . That's all I saying . I will leave it at that.
