Has anyone heard anything??? Seems almost to quiet. Typically something has leaked if he is coming to the UK. Has he even been on campus for a visit? As much as I want him.... I want him to not go to Florida even more!

Florida has the home angle, but that's about it. If anything, I wonder if he'd choose to stay put. IMO, that's the 2nd best option after Kentucky.
If you're going to transfer for one season, this late in the game, it better count. I don't think Florida is really any sort of upgrade over VaTech. This isn't 2010; Florida's days are behind them at the moment.

Corey Evans mentioned today that Blackshear will not be going overseas.

I really hope it's to UK.I just don't have confidence in Nick and EJ from watching them play last season.
Corey Evans of Rivals was asked about him and today released what he has for info. Said he will not go to Europe/will play CBB next year and take 2/3 visits soon and schools most mentioned are UF, UK, and A&M. Mentioned Michigan State as a darkhorse.
Remember we heard same of Reid Travis planning his Villanova visit after UK and it never took place, so think we'll know something soon. Know Anonymous the poster on Rafters has stated he's heard it's UF.

Yeah because we know players never improve from 1 year to the next.

You know Cal is still looking to add him or a reclass big. In his press conference yesterday a reporter asked him about minutes and Cal immediately said, we have two guys, what if one gets hurt. I guess I would play 4 guards for the first time ever, but we would figure it out. The reporter wasn't even asking about bigs, just minutes in general. If Cals looking, I like our chances.

I think it will be Kentucky, but I would bet he is hoping for an overseas contract before announcing his decision.
I have a feeling he knows UK is his best bet to ultimately get what he wants which is a decent draft pick. I see FL as a lateral move really. Every other team he is looking at is a risk. UK is in the tourney pretty much every year with a shot at the FF which gives even more exposure. The smartest business decision is UK and it isn't close.
Yes, under the white hot, microscopic glare that UK basketball is under, the word on Blackshear is out and it's just that nobody has bothered to post anything about it.

What i have been hearing, is nothing new has come out. He will pick a college team when the time is right. Please keep this in Rupp Rafters.
Read here yesterday he’s going to start lining up some visits next week, and it will be a while before we know anything. Best to just chill. Personally I think getting EJ and Richards back makes it less likely he would come to UK. So if he does that’s great, but if not I’m OK with that.
