I posted that I had heard as recently as last week that EJ was returning. I have private messaged several posters other uk-only info.
Heck, I intimated on this board that uk would be in on Kerry before he even entered the portal.
What is know is more circumstance specfic than it is school related.

Mike, EJ and Nick are close to totally unproven . Nick cant stay on the floor . EJ shrunk like a scared turtle at the end when RT was injured .. Compare that to a guy that getting it done in the ACC , KB kicked Dukes *** in the game at Va Tech ... and you want to wave that off ? take off the blue goggles occasionally .... homer .

Doesn't mean Cal won't try to round out the roster with someone like Brown for nevada or a reclass just that it isn't a must . Blackshear to UK now wouldn't make much sense in terms of his point of view IMO but again who knows there isn't really a solid info out there . Hell we still don't know if he stay in the draft or not . I kinda hope he stays in the draft as I would prefer that to him going to UF as UF is one great big away from being a top 5 team.

Yes . Yes they do. I hate UF much more then UL or IU or Duke or any of that noise but I have lived in Jacksonville ( or Tallahassee ) since 1985 so when you are around these lames long enough to hate them is second nature. Truly hate that UF is about to be a force again .

Last year we had PJ, RT, Nick, and EJ and through injuries and foul trouble were still short at times in the frontcourt, but people think we are ok with just half that next year, WTF? Say EJ get hurt and Nick comes in and picks up 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes, still, feel great about our frontcourt? We have seen a good deal of injuries in the last 2 years in a row. I think we need one more big and let EJ play the 4. I would love to land Blackshear and think that makes us the title favorite by a wide margin if it happens.

And the '15 versions of UK, Wisconsin, and Duke would have waltzed through what awaits college basketball next season. The sport is going to be really mediocre with only a few good teams and zero dominant teams.

Like you said, if UK adds Blackshear, UK becomes the lone dominant team in a down year.

Can you picture Blackshear, EJ, Nick, and Nate dominating the glass with guys like Brooks and Whitney locking up the 3?

Then you factor in Hagans/Maxey/IQ/Juzang?

It worked for UVA because they had several elite shooters that will knock shots down in.pressure situations and especially when left open.

They also had a veteran team and a top 3 defense.
