You presume two things:
1) those who messaged read my initial posts and knew my opinions/guesses.
2) those who messaged me weren’t doing so to see if I’ve maintained those opinions/guesses.
I did.
Yet you - in this very thread - very persistently sought for me to re-affirm.
I initially did not want to answer here and offered to reply via private message. A couple posters took that option.
One poster opted to spend his/her workday obsessing over someone for whom he claims to have little regard for opinion/guesses.
Why would they be messaging you if they had not seen the initial message? How would they know you have any details about KB? Why would you also say you are no longer giving info on here and they would have to PM you for further recruiting info.
You might want to learn the difference in necessary and sufficient assumptions. Big difference.
Nah, I just asked if you felt the same, which you initially said would need to be relayed via PM, only to then say you did. All seemed like a bit of spectacle for attention, but to each their own I guess.

Perhaps I can hire you in my quest for attention. I do, however, have some concerns about your work ethic. And it’s probably not the best day to to ask for a reference from the boss!

Nah, if you didn't seek it you wouldn't keep replying about it. It obviously bothers you when people say that about you. If it wasn't true I highly doubt you would be bothered by it.....

According to your posts they were private messaging you before I ever began conversing with you, which would therefore indicate they had some previous knowledge to lead them to the belief that you had insight into the KB situation. How do you think they would have gotten that?

There are a few people I’ve been messaging with for many weeks.
Two people messaged me for the first time - during our conversation today, and after my posted offer to private message.
Maybe you can provide them with a PM of your KB insight and prediction and get them forwarded over. I'm sure I will be waiting a while.

So, Kerry Blackshear is going to start his visit tomorrow evening.....makes sense seeing Cal/Justus are out in Colorado for the 2 day window to recruit at USA 19U Trials and gives them an opportunity to sell the program for 2 days, not just 1.
Anonymous has been consistent in sharing what he's heard/feels about this (UF) and he's holding solid.
Dave Kersey said that Blackshear would visit....so he's nailed that.
Credit both guys for sharing info and calling their shots ahead of time, which in this generation of media doesn't happen, so 2 posters doing so, I tip the cap. Whomever is right/wrong doesn't matter to me, appreciate the info and contributions.

You’ve read my early posts. I’ve provided my prediction and reaffirmed it today.
I’m not sure what further they would provide.
I think Blackshear will end up in Kentucky blue. Why? It makes sense and Cal will sell it to him on Tuesday. The fact that he is coming shows that he is still undecided and this is not a hard choice for him. It just makes sense.
Maybe they will chime in. I’m sure they are eager to egage in discussion with you!
You are the one offering to PM your info instead of sharing it on here. When people have asked you for updates you have stated they would need to PM you for them. So you tell us. Seems like a lot of dancing around on your part. If you have no new info then why are you afraid to discuss info you have already publicly posted? You claim that was because some asked you to quit posting, but yet you are still posting. Makes zero sense.

Nah. Posting my opinions/guesses has typically yielded discussions I do not find enjoyable, and requests for me to quit.
So I have opted to stop.

SO have friendly hoops talk. Part of friendly hoops talk is answering questions people present you within reason. Recruiting would be part of that. Why are you worried about a select few making a post or statement you disagree with? Why do you take it so personal?

I don’t think I was asked to stop posting entirely. I’d have to check. Regardless, the requests and fallout always followed the same type posts - those I am now avoiding.
It’s not an issue of “letting them control”, but rather a matter of preference and how I’d like to use the site moving forward. I don’t enjoy the discussions that follow a recruiting type post. And seeing that I am here for the enjoyment of discussion, it would seem to make perfect sense to avoid those discussions I do not like.
And though I agree this is all very meangiless, that mantra rings a bit hollow from a guy who has burned his entire workday banging the keyboard.

Not posting something in an effort to pander to the overly sensitive is allowing them to control you on here. That is your choice, but it is what it is.
I am here for the enjoyment of discussions as well and I want to discuss recruitments and players in the offseason. If I ask you to not make post that don't provide your full context and knowledge of KB's recruitment would you?
