I can't believe some have not heard of him. He was all ACC last year one of the best leagues there is. He also was all-tourney regional with the likes of Zion and RJ. Due is a major player and instantly becomes Uks most dominant layer if he joins up. His team beat Dook last year and got beat by 2 in the Tourney by Dook when they got screwed. He was one of the top 2 players on that team.

He had 18 and 5 against us in Rupp in the 2017-2018 season, too. In only 22 minutes.

No, but the scuttlebutt the last couple of days has been extremely positive.

It was great to hear that KB and UK both have a mutual interest level in this thing. Kerry wants to play for UK and UK wants him.

Seems inevitable.

I hope, very much, that you are right but I've been around long enough now to realize nothing is inevitable in recruiting. Now, let's hope he does decide for UK!

Florida is definitely not cut from it. They still feel very good about Blackshear and think it is only Florida or Kentucky. The NBA already has a very good read on him and a year at Kentucky will not turn him into a first rounder. If he goes to Florida he may play in G or Europe, if he goes to UK he may still end up in Europe or G.

Bless your heart.

Reminds me of a kid in my high school. For favorite memory under his picture - he put, in all caps:
MY DIXIE WRECKED

The editor put it in, not reading it I guess. It made me laugh. The kid was always a wild one. I thought it was funny that they (editors) didn’t proof it, or just didn’t care.

lol I’m ashamed to admit I literally said “my Dixie wrecked?” Out loud like 3-4x outside of work on my break before I realized what it actually “said.”

I worked in a bowling alley 25+ years ago as a porter. Late on Friday night, the place was packed. I went to a pay phone, called the girl at the front counter and asked her to page Mike Hunt.

She paged that name over the intercom 5 times as I waited on hold until she caught on.

Here's a clip of Calipari and his staff preparing to secure a commitment from Blackshear.

Holy **** man, I did the same thing. I used to bowl a lot at these lanes in Bullitt County, Shepherdsville. The old lady at the desk was always nasty as hell. One night, place was packed, I went to the pay phone and called, asked her to page my wife Sharon Peters. I left the phone open and went right inside to hear her page Sharon Peters to the white courtesy phone like 10 times. People laughing and she didn’t get it. It was funny as hell. When someone told her she cursed for five minutes.

There's a guy from my hometown named Mike Hunt.

He was in college when I was in HS. I think he majored in Spanish, because he came and spoke to my Spanish class. My Spanish teacher said, "class, I want to introduce you all to Mike Hunt." We all looked at each other and held it in out of respect for her. True story. Believe it or not.

Yup, same thing, only Joyland Bowling alley had payphones right by the doors leading out to the batting cages. I could stand right inside and hear her over the intercom. It took her 5 tries before either she understood it, or someone told her.

So we could have a bench that consists of Richards, Sestina, Brooks, Juzang, Allen, and Quickley?

In other words, a bench that would finish top 5 in the SEC and make the tournament?

Yeah, if we land Kerry, this next squad will be very satisfying to watch.
Last years team was fun to watch too! Not the first game but otherwise fun the rest of the year!

LMAO if you think Cal/UK doesn’t get KB into the first round.

Daniel freaking Orton went first round, simply because he came from UK. Skal Labissier went first round, that doesn't happen at any other school.

Please enlighten how this situation is any different than a player named Reid Travis who was on our team last year doing the exact same thing as KB would be?

Travis averaged great numbers as a junior in the PAC12. Blackshear averaged great numbers as a junior in the ACC.

Neither were on any draft board following their junior year.

Reid Travis is not on any draft board following his year at Uk.

What makes you think KB will go from no draft board to first round?

How can he have anymore to prove? Just like Travis, he averaged great figures in a P5. If they didn’t want him at a YOUNGER age, averaging close to a double double, after their junior seasons, they likely don’t (Travis isn’t getting drafted Thursday) want them after another year in college just to age. There is not a significant change between junior and senior year when you are going from P5 school to P5 school. That was proven last year with Travis.

Some just aren’t a good fit for the NBA.

Travis and KB situations are about as close as you can get.

So don’t “LOL” in someone’s face when he has more of an argument than you do.

One played above the rim versus one of the best conferences in the nation. KB has a better pro game and Cal can help him improve significantly....ask PJ
