We’re really going out of our way for a potential disappointment.
Weather is rounding into form. Temp is predicted to be about 10 degrees cooler than predicted a couple of days ago. Could be in the 30s at kickoff.
Really don’t get the blackout thing. I guess it will make it easier to ID and mug USC fans
Is that a projection of the 3rd quarter crowd?
I remember the Red Out, piss the pants loss to Texas. The hyped up pre-game pomp never seems to turn out that great for Nebraska.
I always remind the young ones, shoot for the moon, but always save a little room for disappointment.

Perfect football weather for kids who play football in the middle part of the country. It's currently 86 degrees in LA. Could be 50 degrees cooler than that in Lincoln by the second half.
To be fair, we lost the majority of our games for awhile now. So statistically, we have a good chance to lose with alternates.. it’s not a curse. We’ve just been bad for awhile
At the very least, they will look fancy in their Bend Over Blacks.
JFC... maybe the athletic department can put out a 30 minute video showing how their cleats were painted.

When I was a kid growing up in Chicago, bears fans would always brag how the weather for home games would make "those sissy 49ers" fall apart.

Good point, but changing the end zones and the N in the middle of the field to black is a little over doing it.
Been better just to hand out black Pom poms.
