Black Out for the Arkansas game!!!

I know this is my first post but, I think we as a school should rally from this great loss. Everyone in the Bulldog Nation is in mourning right now over the lose of Nick Bell. I think as a school and fan base we should grow from this. I think we should have a black out for the Arkansas game in honor of Nick Bell. Thoughts?

We get destroyed anytime we wear black so I vote hell to the naw for wearing black but we will do something I'm sure

That what color we are wearing doesn't affect our performance. I personally like the idea.

Yeah we definitely would have beaten #1 Alabama and won at LSU if it wasn't for those damn black jerseys

I was talking with jcdawgman about it last night and we debated over whether they would want to wear black <span style="font-weight: bold;">again</span> this season to honor Nick. While I do like the idea in general of wearing black after a player's death, we've already worn it once and I don't know if that would taint the idea of doing it <span style="font-weight: bold;">just for Nick</span>, like we would want for the Bama game. Hopefully the team does/wears something that will honor their teammate, and I'm sure it'll be moving, whatever it is.

If black, I'll wear black. That said, I think it would be better if the fans wore maroon shirts with his number on it or decent stickers, etc. A stadium full of black would have too somber of a feel to it. There should definitely be a tasteful display on remembrance by the fans, but I'd shy away from anything that would make the environment funeral-like.

But again, if the players want the fans to wear black, black it is.

I would also like to see a large #36 painted at the middle of Scott Field for that game, instead of the normal logo.

lost a player in a 4 wheeler accident a few years ago. For the entire next year ( it would have been the kids SR year) the team did not run onto the field. They walked on arm in arm with the team captianscarrying the kid's jersery at the front. They carried it to the coin toss too. It put a lump in my throat every time I saw it.
