Black Knight Invitational - 2026?

[TwoJoints]

According to FloSports Arena this year’s Black Knight Invitational Wrestling Tournament will be held on Saturday, November 15th beginning at 10:00 AM. As far as I can tell neither Army nor Penn State has made a formal announcement of their 2026-2027 schedule so take this info for what it’s worth.

Any truth to the rumor they are renaming the event to the annual PSU wrestleoff, to generate more fan interest?

I attended last year and, based on the clothes people were wearing, more than 1/2 the crowd appeared to be Penn State fans. Seems we have a pretty engaged fan base within reasonable driving distance of West Point.

Idk if they want a lot more fan interest. It draws a pretty good crowd as it is.

Highly unlikely that Army does not enter a team in their own tournament. No idea if PSU is going or not.

That made me chuckle.
I assume the poster meant the Army hasn’t made an announcement of who will be at their tournament

I laughed when I read this too. I wrote the original post this way because the information came from a 3rd party source - FloSports Arena - rather than from the host or one of the participating schools and couldn’t be otherwise verified.
