Please tell me Texas A&M isn’t that stupid. He needs to stay at Ole Miss forever

He must have some serious dirt on the A&M prez.

i imagine that first meeting with Jimbo will go something like “stay the hell away from me, and be sure the check deposits every 3rd of the month”

I honestly can't figure out how another school could look at ole miss athletics the past few years and think "I need the guy in charge of that place".

Had almost every athletic sport at OM on probation or under investigation and they hire him? If this is true, he is either the best scam artist in the world or aTm is the stupidest bunch in the world.

Maybe they know how light OM got off for cheating as bad as they did and figure they're gonna need the same magic with Jimbo at some point.

So we’ve owned ole miss in basically every sport for quite some time now and now they don’t have an AD or President. Feels good, man.

Well, Hugh's got Liberty. What can Jimbo look forward to? Hell, he don't care with that paycheck.

ETA: Jimbo, don't ever give Bdork your phone.

I saw a super vague tweet about him and thought he was canned.

That’s one crafty SOB. How the hell do you go from being a half way ****** AD at WKU... to a fully ****** AD at OM... and then somehow leverage that previously mentioned shittiness to grab the head job at one of the wealthiest ath. departments in the country? I now have nothing but respect for that dumb bastard.

Flabbergasted. Only thing I can think of is those wealthy alum wanted somebody they absolutely knew would not get in the way of buying championships. Hope this move gets the NCAA looking close at them. With their money they could be scary. Literally why I was dead-set against them joining the SEC.

A&M going all in. They got the $$ to spend. Look out.

This is it. The boosters must have wanted a yes man. Expect them to get really good at recruiting all of a sudden, and then get a little spanking by the NCAA on the way out. Bjork just used Ole Miss to test the boundaries.
