Emmons as a freshman must have had a good spring for the national champs to give him 6 carries. Bama is loaded with backs and Emmons debuts in the opener against Southern Cal.

Have seen this for years. People think Freedom is located in Charlotte. Probably confusing it with Independence.
Best instance of it was when the Observer quoted a Charlotte Freedom score against Asbrook. Tough when the local paper can't keep school locations straight.
Do they not know that is the same Freedom High School that won a state quarter finals game against the Beam Bulldogs?....damn Herbstreit. they even have a commemorative plaque!
Rev, after winning the last 2 out of three games against Burns its not as fun as it once was. We kinda look at beating Burns like beating E Burke, Draughn, Foard or maybe Chase. Hopefully when you guys really start winning again we can schedule a game
lol, yeah winning 5 out of 7 was getting to be boring as well. We had to start putting a theme on just so fans would come and watch that beating. You should know very well about the likes of Draughn, Chase and EB...you spent quite a bit of time battling for 4th w them in the SMAC.
