I believe there's zero chance this kid stays, zero. This is just another article like we've read every year and then boom, mass exodus, this year will be no different, only way, is that it will likely be worse. I believe he should and ultimately it would be beneficial to both parties, though this is Cal we're talking about...he's gone.

These IMO are gone whether it’s NBA, transfer or graduate.
EVERYONE!!! Except walkons and Toppin

I’ve said it a few times on this board but I will say it again. BJ might go through the NBA process but I truly think he comes back to improve his stock. I definitely could be wrong, just a gut feeling.

I admit I am not an NBA guy; I don't follow them much at all except to scan ESPN headlines to see fit any UK guys are mentioned.
You say a short list but I ask where are these guys and why are we not hearing about them? Not talking about an occasional game like a mushroom in your yard; you know their there but never know when they might pop up.
Archie Goodwin Markus Lee Trey Lyles Kevin Knox. Nick Richards
Willie Stein Brandon Knight Ullis Vanderbilt
James Young Terrance Jones Skal Labeisier Hagans
Harrisons boys Liggins Wenyen Gabriel. Quickley
Dakari Johnson Markus Teague Hami Diallo EJ

I know you will tell me this guy or that guy is playing for some NBA team, but why do we not hear their names anymore?
I get that every now and then one of these guys has a good night but for the most part, we never see their names unless you go looking for them.
Still think we have way too many "I am good enough for the NBA" but not enough to stay in the NBA.
Out of all of those guys the only ones with legitimate gripes are Goodwin, Skal, Young, Gabriel, Dakari, Teague, and EJ.

Everyone else is either in the league, transferred, or likely made the most of what their talent would allow them to do in the league.

Guys like Vanderbilt and Hami are having the best seasons of their career and trending up. Knox is one of the worst players in the league, but hard to fault anyone passing on lottery money. Nick just got in the league this year and is putting up good numbers in the G League. Guys like WCS, Lyles and Knight (injuries decimated a very good career for him) will have solid NBA careers.

Most of our players do very well after they leave. It's the recent trend of the EJ Montgomery and Kahlil Whitney types that don't have a chance in hell of making a roster that needs to be corrected.
