Saw something today that really surprised me.

There is only one QB in history who won a Heisman Trophy and is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

I’ll let it be a trivia question. No peaking…

I think I got it but only because in high school our library had a book of all the Heisman winners. I remember Roger Staubach being one of them and I think he’s also hall of fame

I did a report On him in the third grade (1980) and somehow remember that, but didn’t know he was the only one with both.

Up until 1985, NO Heisman winner was in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. In 1985, Staubach and OJ Simpson got in, but I don't know if OJ still counts as a Heisman winner...I guess he still won it even if he had to sell it.

The HOF picked up Paul Hornung and Doak Walker in 1986 thanks to the Old Timers committee
