Getting to spend my birthday at the spring game with all my family and friends is always really fun but this year it was absolutely electric. One thing I’ve always loved about this place is the people in this state are genuine, it doesn’t matter what town you’re in. But it was on a whole different level Saturday. The people seemed nicer (if that’s even possible), the food smelled better, the music sounded better, and to top it off it was a heck of a scrimmage. I love this place and Saturday made me love it even more. It just feels special and I can’t wait for September. GBR!

Their is a genuine feeling of hope again. I know every year we have hope in the spring but it isn't just lip service this year. I haven't seen this kind of excitement since 97. And everyone is finally on the same page. Fans, coaches, AD, chancellor, President, former players and media. These are exciting times in Lincoln!! GBR!!
It’s awesome. I won’t go in to details, but because of that genuiness you referred to, we were able to meet and shake Scott’s hand before the game. There is NO place like Nebraska.
