It's a subsidized farm league. Butts in seats is gravy, but that's not where they get the bulk of their revenue. The league will sustain as long as the networks continue to subsize it. Hell, I think Fox Sports owns a big chunk of it. It's football in the spring, so they get eyeballs on it.

Have a 6 game spring college football league using the 3rd and 4th strings of each SEC school. That way they get playing time and no Fall starters get injured*****

Let the Spring Game be against a real team. Maybe somebody like Delta St. or along those lines. Would be a lot more interesting and the opponent would walk away with one of the best checks they'll ever get.

This dumbass league needs to stop pretending they can fill a 50k seat stadium. They should play in some of these smaller soccer stadiums that have popped up around the nation.
