Didn't see anything on the MMB about it, saw it in a story in the DP about BB recruit enrollment. I'll miss his antics on the bench with Huggs. He brought a different level on excitement to bad calls.

I took my son to the bball facility to check out the history museum on a Sunday but it was closed.
As we were walking away, Billy walks up and asked if we needed any help. I told him what we
were doing and he swiped his security card and took us in. Showed us around and said to stay as
long as we liked...just to close the door on the way out. I thought he was going to murder us at first. :)

Real nice guy!!

Say it ain't say .................Billy. The Mountaineer games wont' be the same without Billy.

No, it won't be exactly the same. His facial expressions were priceless at times during the game watching on TV. I sometimes talk with my mother on the phone during games and I'll say 'Did you see the face Billy Hahn just made?'. She'd ask which one is Hahn and I'd reply, 'The one who looks like a gangster.' Of course, my mother is in her 80's and gangsters looked different then than today, but she knew who I meant.

I always enjoyed shots of Billy snoozing on the bench towards the end of the season after those long road swings. 10K plus of fans howling in the background and Billy, head back, sitting on the the sidelines, sawing logs.

I guess he figured he could relax as Huggins had thousands of spotters in the stands pointing out the bad calls. "Wake me up if you need me, Bob."
