Billy Donovan or Scott Drew

I would take Pearl over Drew. He is a better fit for the UK job, plus he has had much better post season success than Drew. He also did it at 2 different Football schools.

For the record, Pearl would be like my 6th or 7th choice. Drew wouldn't even be Top 10.

Dude, I have explained it like 100 times already on here. Just look at the records. Aside from 2021, Scott Drew hasn’t done **** at Baylor. And 2021 is a year no one considers relevant because you had teams and players having to sit out of the tournament due to covid. Baylor literally played 3 games all of February leading into the post season.

These other coaches have more consistent records and upside.

I only read this thread so the 100 times you mentioned aren't in this thread. And the conversation was Drew or Donovan. Not all the other coaches. Donovan isn't coming here but for sh*ts and giggles, what has Donovan proved over the last 10 years?

You should start your own college and get the coach you want. Pearl is what 65 and no titles. How did he do this year?

I'm convinced Donovan is the allure of the girlfriend who spurned you for a lot of our posters. We've asked him twice and he's turned us down twice. Maybe 3 times now. Meanwhile, he has no significant accomplishments in 10 years.

Pearl has a NCAA Division II National Title. He has also had multiple deep tourny runs at several schools, two of which couldn't have given a **** about basketball. Pearl also has 9 Conference Titles, compared to 2 for Drew.

Drew had one good season in 21 years at the same school.

It's not my fault you don't read. Also, are we only limited to Donovan or Drew? They the only basketball coaches in existence?

2021 isn't relevant at all as it was an anomaly no one cares about. Shortened season, several week stretches of no games for some teams. Baylor was off almost the entire month of Feb, resting up for the tournament. Teams were pulled out of the tournament for covid. Multiple really good players were forced to miss. No fans, limited media. It was a pointless endeavor.

Donovan hasn't been underwhelming in college for last decade. He also has made some good NBA connections which is something recruits care about. He is far more proven than Drew as well.
