I thought about that too, but it would have been 59 yards. Don't think their kicker has that much leg.
But it's still better odds than 4th and 27. Like you said. Punt. Or FG. They take a 20 yard loss on a sack. Oops. Lucky to go to OT
Maybe. That would have been my second choice behind punting. But by some miracle, it worked out anyway.
That's what I thought too. The defender was looking right at the blocker. Nothing blindside about it.

Personally don't have a dog in the fight but I became a Bill's fan after the kickoff thrown to the ref resulting in TD by Buffalo and then reversed. Take a knee and make it clear. For too long the PROS are non chalaunt. Wait until next time a kick returner tries some trickery and takes off. That's what I would do

You would think the head Ref would have been able to figure the call out himself instead of "meeting" of the minds. Geezus.
