Walton is a treasure, wish he would do more east coast games, west coast ball is garbage.
Is he actually aware the game is going on? Walton is one of those guys that you hate seeing call games that you actually care about but love seeing him call games that you don't.
I like it when he gets off on some tangent, and when his partner says “So, anyway back to the basketball game” and Walton takes the opportunity to dump on the quality of the game he is calling “oh yeah because what is happening in this game right now is sooo interesting. The refs have been at the monitor for five minutes”.
We just need to go ahead and bring him on Gameday and give him a segment.
I'd have a hard time watching our game if he were calling it. I'd have to try and listen to the radio with the tv muted, but I am not sure you can get that to work if you are streaming and not using cable/satellite. Wouldn't matchup to each other I don't think.
You do realize they’ve had a final, elite 8, and 2 sweet 16s the past 4 years?
