Winning NC’s in any sport is difficult, if it wasn’t, Coach K at Duke would win it all the time. I’d take Self at Nebraska in a second.

They should hire Tim Miles look at what he's done here with no history. Imagine what he could do at KU.

Well... i’m No KU fan but living in KC Bill Self is pretty much a god in the eyes of most KU fans. 15 years as HC with 14 regular season conference titles, 7 Big 12 tourney titles, 2 final four appearances, and a national title (something Roy Williams never did at KU). That’s impressive. To say otherwise is beyond asinine.
To put it another way (not an expectation, just what if). If in 15 years Coach Frost won 14 division title, 7 conference championships, 2 Playoff appearances, and 1 national title would you think he’s one of the best ever in Husker history???

Self is awful. KU should totally fire him.
Then once he's newly unemployed, Self would be a good fallback candidate for the Nebraska job, should Dana Altman somehow turn it down.

Sure. He would be top 3. Haven't been too many coaches at Nebraska to stay that long.
Also, It seems that the Big 12 has been pretty blah in both football and basketball recently.

Bill Self currently reminds me of Paul Chryst.
I am sure there are some KU fans that get mad at Self during the dance BUT he is a great coach and recruiter. I wish the Illini still had him
I agree but there are plenty of average/above averages coaches we would have traded for during our last 20 years of football.
I'm no BS fan, but his results are what they are. Can't argue with his successes. Any university would be lucky to have him.

He is good coach however..
So...that means that Roy Williams was an even bigger choker at KU than Self. Never remotely came close to doing what Self has done at KU, and Self is 4-1 against Williams head-to-head. Give me Self over Roy all day long. Roy constantly choked at KU, and yes, worse than Self.
