I never go to ED. I take what folks say with a grain of salt who claim to have sources. I didn't get all excited about the rumors around the EB.

Having said that, after the fight and after the embarrassing MCB performance, I've never seen Gene's Page and SPS in 99% agreement on wanting a coach fired and then Steve with a few hints, not that Joe was getting fired, but "MASSIVE Changes" coming, it's got to be common sense to Cohen and Kenum that something has to be done but more importantly, Joe is likely not the man for the job. 2 straight seasons of us getting worse as the season goes on at damn near every position but the off the field stuff is just beyond pitiful.

I think there's some smoke for sure, but I won't believe it until I see it. We are Miss St. We're not that lucky. Perhaps we're the exception to the rule for once in our lives.

I said in another thread, the Dead Indians 17'd up and the Gods threw us a bone and a mulligan with the Shrader/Gay fight. Napier is right there waiting for us. It's RARE you get a second chance at something this good.

The "latest" over there is that Moorhead agreed to make changes which includes hiring a dedicated OC with "full autonomy and play calling duties."

....and I have a feeling that is true. If it is, I am beyond disappointed but certainly not surprised. I'll have all sorts of free time next season.
