I'm not sure if he knows anything about coaching football but he would surely be even more entertaining than the Pirate. Imagine the press conferences.....

He is an interesting dude. Legend is he has no cell phone, it is impossible to get in touch with him, he shows up at random parties...
.My favorite story involving him involves the movie Roadhouse. He is buddies with Kelly's Lynch's (the doctor/love interest in the movie) husband. Murray and now apparently all his brothers will call their house at whatever hour anytime they see the movie Roadhouse is on. I will let Murray tell a very abbreviated version of the story.

It i s weird because he is almost funny now for not being funny.
It would have been very interesting to see where John Candy's career would have gone had he not died.

I imagine most comedians drop off in their later years, so I wouldn't hold that against him. He's definitely one of my favorite actors of the 80s era.
His humor is often very dry now. He still makes me laugh. Some people donāt grasp some of his bits. Heās an extremely intelligent guy.
