Top Guys for the Job
- John Blake. After last weekend, Riley realized he needs a good "bag guy" and Blake has a few of those connections. The funny thing about this mess is when recruits would ask about $, they'd always ask to talk to the Banker. Riley being a good guy and clueless would send Coach Banker in to close and he could never get it done. How funny is that? The kids asking for $ and you send in Banker.
- Ron Zook. He was rumored a long time ago to come here as DC in 2011 after Carl left for FAU. Complete insider info here, apparently Ron has really bad credit and was turned down for a mortgage in Lincoln back in 2011. It was very depressing and embarrassing for Zook, he appearently invested all his money in the website "hireronzook.com". Anyways, he had to move into a paper box from 2011 to 2014. Eventually the Packers hired him and he's been sleeping on a cot in the janitorial office at lambeau field and saved up his money. Now he has enough money that he thinks he can purchase home in Lincoln.
- Mike DuBose. There is a little known fact in college football that if you hire DuBose, the college football gods will take pity on you and make your program great again after you fire him.
- Charlie Weis - He used to be an offensive guy. That is correct. Two things to that. First, he started off as a defensive guy long time ago. Second, after having his offense completely shut down @ Ku he realized the "secrets of having a dominate defense". So for the last few years he's been studying film and writing defensive plays that coincide with offense plays. He just finished the last part of the play book which was based on how to defend the Wing T offense.
