for president. The guy knows how to motivate the defense. Back to back second half shutouts.

Rutgers does not have a very good offense, but Chinander would have had guys 10-15 yards off the ball giving up chunks to the tune of 500 yards and 31+ points. Busch has common sense we've been missing since before teams figured out how to beat Bo.

Really is incredible. My first thought was, well, it's Indiana and Rutgers. But then I go back and realize we gave up 31 to Northwestern and 45 to freaking Georgia Southern. What a turnaround. I give him a pass on Oklahoma because he literally had a week, and it's Oklahoma.

If I’m Busch I’d open my next press conference stating “we gotta do a better job on D. We’ve got to throw complete shut outs. Come on. It’s not exactly like our offense is the 89 49ers”

Busch wasn't the DC against Oklahoma.

Rutgers has the worst group of QBs I've seen in a long time, but I'll take the W thank you very much.

Chin was still the DC against OU. We couldn’t get lined up against OU

You know how Rutgers gave Volkelk a 15 yard cushion on that third down where he hit the slant, got the first and then got hurt? That’s something Chins would have done.

I don’t care who the other team is - this same Defense gave up 600+ yds to Ga Southern. So much better the past two weeks.

Yep. How many completely inexperienced QB's had career days against Chins?

All of them?

Even on that last INT. It happened because their QB was under pressure. He was under pressure because we brought a 4th pass rusher. We brought a 4 th pass rusher because we were trying to win instead of trying not to lose.

Yep. Ugly win. Will take that over an ugly loss though.

Let’s be absolutely real here. If there’s anyone to help Nebraska along and then hand it over to an experienced, great HC, it’s Micky and Busch. I hope they stay on if everything goes right (especially Micky with his background), but we got two people here who sincerely care and love Nebraska football and us getting better

I don't know who has the personnel decisions on D but changing out our corners for 2 new guys has helped. We covered really well.

The tackling, although not good, was better than it has been for sure.

Looks like a completely different defense.

I was pretty worried after the first drive but they really rallied.

A lot of new kids are playing . Just look at tree rotation on the Defensive line,

Keep practicing that tackling. Maybe they can get better

Considering they moved our former starting CB to 3rd string WR………

Weird how we gave up some big plays in the first half, and adjustments were made, and it helped.

I wanted to give Chinander a pass but damn, I guess he was just that bad.... Or Busch is a genuis. Maybe some of both.

One of the latest trends in the NFL is to go after hot young Coordinators or even position coaches instead of hiring retread head coaches. Just sayin. If things keep progressing positively I would rather keep Mickey than hire some middling success coach from another program like Campbell. JMO.

Chin was just that bad. We should have listened to the UCF trolls

I agree. I've never been a big believer in the halftime adjustments. I think you come in with a gameplan based on scouting and let it fly. But obviously Busch is making adjustments.

Some of it is just reinforcing the game plan and maybe giving instructions on how to handle new twists they’re throwing at you.

I didn't watch the game against North Dakota or Indiana. I turned tonight's game off at half time. Maybe I should stop watching?
