Don't say that here. 90% of this board worships him and listens to his words like its gospel and claim he's 'the best in the biz' even though the guy literally brings zero insight to the viewers of ESPN.He is awful to watch. I can't stand him and he is terrible at his job. Any kid could do better then Bilas.
You've missed a lot of threads on bashing him. You may want to step off that pedestal just sayin'When I said these things about how much he sucks and how his backhanded jabs towards UK and ulis are just plain annoying as feeuuurrrkk. And that he's a tool for saying the nonsense he says about UK. Then the entire board bashes me for speaking badly about bilas calling him out for being the tool he is over him taking a subtle, back handed shot at Ulis. With many fans saying. "He's the best in the biz" and stupid nonsense of that sort taking up for bilas because I stood up for Ulis and UK. It's like damn. I'm getting bashed for standing up for Ulis and UK and calling Bilas out on the **** job he does on ESPN? People on this board suck for the most part. If you take bilas' side over UK and Ulis (like most of this board considering this board for some reason worships bilas and his very mediocre ability to do his job). Then you got your priorities effed up and you're not a fan of UK.

Ya think? You might exaggerate a little.
Said UNC was clean. Like our chances.
[laughing] There's a reason why I don't watch ESPN unless there's a game on I want to watch. Bilas is the ultimate tar hole butt kisser/apologist. His schtick of trying not to be too biased is pretty tiring to a lot of Duke fans as well (myself included).
Not that it matters too much, but I say Kentucky over Indiana. Should be a very good game, though. I'd go with UK by about 5, maybe it goes OT. I think the Cats have more answers for Yogi and the Indiana frontcourt on defense than IU has for Ulis and Murray. Plus I'd take Calipari over Crean when push comes to shove.
In ncaa division 1 men's basketball. We have the #1 offense in what?
You're always a gentleman Aike. I commend you.You might exaggerate a little.

I mean, I try, but you can't get it like Aike. Dude is legit.
He sets a great example for all of us.
This thread has a few examples of your terrible posting that I was telling you about the other day. Most people here, think he's the GOAT of analysist. I promise.
Yea I guess they might not worship him on this board. But damn near close to it. Besides that though my post was spot on. I can say that based on my experiences on this board. You might exaggerate a little.
Is this the guy that said I couldn't be more wrong about stoops and his coaching inability? If so pretty much everything I had said was correct and you didn't like it because you're a stoops apologists (if you're the poster from the instance I'm talking about). This thread has a few examples of your terrible posting that I was telling you about the other day.
That's me. You were an idiot then and you are still an idiot now. Just because an idiot(you) thinks he is correct doesn't make it so. Good post daddyo. Spot on.Bilas is just an analyst with an opinion; he isn't a UK ambassador.-- although he heaped plenty of praise upon us last year.
That said, it's not completely "out of left field" to predict IU winning. I despise their fanbase, and enjoying a good laugh at Crean's expense.
However, they did win their conference. Like UK, they were good at home but struggled at times on the road. Unlike past Crean teams, they actually play defense along with their scoring skills.
Close game throughout (UK by 6?) would be my "reclining-chair" opinion. Maybe I'm old school; but, my old HS coach (RIP) always drilled into our heads to respect every team's abilities-- no matter how much you hated them.
Only when it comes to results on the basketball court. I get that it sounds arrogant and all, but Coach K has set the bar pretty high the last 30 yearsYou guys expect the world don't ya?
Hahahahahahaha oh my god man. You said stoops fixed all of his coaching woes by making the correct coaching changes. Just because he made a few changes. Doesn't mean you can say he fixed anything. Him firing coaches that he shouldn't have hired to begin with doesn't mean anything was fixed. It definitely didn't fix his own coaching inability by firing coaches. Yet you had the nerve to say he fixed his own coaching woes. And you literally didn't say anything to disprove my points other than saying I'm wrong. Glad you know how to back your points up. I used examples of times where stoops completely **** the bed as to why I said those things. And all you had to say is that I couldn't be more wrong. Good job! That's me. You were an idiot then and you are still an idiot now. Just because an idiot(you) thinks he is correct doesn't make it so. Listen andre, licking the window doesn't make it a lollypop.

As far as Bilas goes, I just simply believe he tries a little too hard to come across as unbiased. It's okay for him to show a little bit of bias towards Duke from time to time. Heck, I remember in 2010 when Carolina finished the regular season at Duke. They were a pretty bad team that year, ended up going to the NIT and had virtually no chance of beating Duke in Cameron. But on College Gameday, Hubert Davis predicted Carolina would win. Granted I think Hubert picked with his heart and tried to get a laugh out of people. I'll say it worked with me. I chuckled in a good way when Hubert made that prediction
In ncaa division 1 men's basketball.
Cory Magette, Lance Thomas? The travesty that was the final 4 (UK vs wiscy officiating, shot clock violation no call, phantom over the back call on Andrew Harrison when wiscy player wasn't within 10 feet of him) and the title game (refs were pathetically biased towards Duke that game. Practically predetermined Duke as champions with how the game was called one way, yet not the same the other way). Not only because of the cakewalk path they have to the final 4 every season whereas UK is always under seeded and given the hardest path. They for sure as hell haven't earned all there hardware. If the magette thing happened at UK. You bet your *** UK has there title vacated. Same with lance Thomas. And imagine how many less titles they would have if the committee didn't gift wrap there path to the final 4 every season? Considering the magette and Thomas situations. Coach Krybaby is one of the dirtiest coaches in all of college basketball. 5th behind pitino, Roy Williams, Boheim and Brown (arguable between coach k and the other 2 for 3rd place). But much like Roy Williams and UNC. The NCAA protects Duke and coach K. Duke is untouchable as far as punishment from the NCAA goes. If that happened at any other program the titles would've been vacated. And the coach would've been fired. But due to the protection Duke receives it was all swept under the rug. And coach K is viewed as a saint.Well, Uk is the Gold Standard, but I give Duke 3rd in history as of today.
Even though, I won't lie to you, I don't feel you've earned all the hardware.

3 certainties in life.... Death, taxes, and Duke receiving favorable bias from the selection committee, NCAA, and referees. Many titles with asterisk next to them at Duke. everybody who is a fan of CBB sees asterisk next to many of duke's titles. In the same way the last 25 years at UNC**** has asterisk next to every win. Obviously what Duke did wasn't as bad. But when you play with ineligible players your wins and titles during that time frame are vacated. Imagine if Kanter still played the season he was here? Not one win that season would've counted. But we're talking about Duke right now, they're allowed to play ineligible players as long as it helps them win a national title. Only reason it wasn't vacated at Duke is because we're talking about coach Krybaby and Duke right now, just because they didn't get punished doesn't mean coach Krybaby and Duke aren't dirty and it doesn't mean those banners shouldn't have been stripped. That's the thing though no matter what Duke does the NCAA isn't going to punish them, same with UNC. Doesn't mean us fans count those championships. No one who is a real, knowledgeable fan of CBB views Duke as an elite program with 5 national titles. At least not without an asterisk anyways. If you count asterisks they are elite. But fans don't count asterisk seasons. Same reason fans don't view bonds as a hall of famer and home run king. It's the asterisks, man. It's called cheating. So unless you count cheating as success then no one really seriously views Duke as 'the gold standard'. I honestly have no idea where you came up with that. Quite humerous IMO. That's like saying bonds is the gold standard in baseball. No one views bonds as the gold standard in baseball the same way no one views Duke as the gold standard in basketball. No one. No one outside of Durham at least.
And when you look at the brackets every year. Who has the easiest and who has the most difficult path? It's every single year too. Duke always has a cakewalk bracket. Whereas UK gets underseeded and the bracket of death every year. It's the sad truth. But Duke and coach Krybaby are untouchable regardless how much and how bad they cheat. Much like Roy Williams and UNCheat**** ... The treatment duke receives from the selection committee and the NCAA is pretty much criminal. In a way it's along the same lines as fixing games. Same can be said for how they treat UK as far as criminal goes (example: the under seeding of 1 or 2 lines and bracket of death every year). It's almost the same as fixing games the way they formulate the brackets for the sole purpose of giving everyone a fair chance to win it all except UK. Looking at this years brackets. That seemed to be the selection committees only objective. How can we screw UK and diminish there chances at making it to the last game? Even calipari believes this is happening (he actually knows this is happening, or so he says, he said the committee plays favorites referring to Duke and how they were rated higher in the seeding process with cakewalk bracket, and that they don't like other teams, referring to UK getting under seeded below aTm and in the hardest section of all brackets).
It's the truth. Calipari says it's a fact, it's not a conspiracy. The NCAA and the committee plays favorites and definitely uses bias in there formula of constructing the brackets. How else can you explain Duke being rated higher even though they lost to UK when they had Jefferson, didn't win there conference title, and came into the conference tournament ranked 5 spots below UK (who actually won there conference outright and tourney) yet leapfrogged UK in NCAAT? The conspiracy is what Duke fans blindly wish to believe as the truth. And that's there belief that the NCAA doesnt play favoritism towards them and doesn't gift wrap Duke the easiest path every season. The truth is what it is. And if you include the cakewalk brackets due to NCAA favoritism it gives Duke even more of an asterisk next to the banners that were won with ineligible players. Which is why no one views Duke as the gold standard. And since they get away with all this stuff, the officiating bias is just icing on the cake and not even worth mentioning when you think about all the other stuff. UK hasn't always been clean I can admit that. But guess what? We got punished and served our time. Whatever we've earned. WEVE EARNED. WITH ELIGIBLE PLAYERS. THEREFOR MAKING UK THE GOLD STANDARD. NO ASTERISK******
So what did i say that wasn't true? I'm getting bashed by UK fans for PROVING to a Duke fan that he's dumb for calling Duke the gold standard of CBB? your logic is definitely *** backwards when you're salty about me being on this board, and not catching a break, for proving Duke fans that they're dumb as fuuuhhhccc if they truly believe duke is the gold standard. I feel like I should be appreciated for spouting the truth of Duke basketball and the nation wide consensus of Duke basketball amongst CBB fans to a Duke fan. Don't you have some jay bilas worshipping you need to get in on or something?Good God. Ulismyman disappears only to be replaced by this guy? We can't catch a break. Take a deep breath Andre
