Bilas is really struggling with the whole concept of an ACC Tournament Champion being seeded lower than a team that the ACC Tournament Champion beat en route to winning the ACC Tournament.
He wasn't paying attention to the UK-Texas A&M thing last year........ or maybe he just assumed that that kind of thing only happens to the SEC.

Dear God, they didn't even deserve a 2 seed and he needs to grow up. If he wants to whine like a lawyer, he should have stuck with that.
I have said on here many times Bilas and Williams are duke through and through. They make watching espn very uninjoyable to me.
Duke did not deserve a 1 seed. Bilas can suck it, and I'm going to watch him now and laugh as he whines and cries about his pooor little Duke team. This is the final straw for me, I'm done with that dude.
I like him as a color commentator and his analysis is normally solid, but he let his dukie ties lead him astray here... I wish he would let those who aren't so close to a single program do their jobs and him stick to his. I still like him, but he took a misstep here.
Williams and Bilas tried to con the committee with their incessant saling of Duke.
Like I said, I like him but he's been in a downhill spiral as a commentator for a while. Just tried too hard. The old school guys like Raftery were the best and will remain until they roll out. They understand their role.
Bilas is actually one of the better analysts out there. The committee didn't do a great job. But then again the nature of their job, they will always get low approvals from fans.

As someone who hates repetitive threads, I support this one as it patronizes ridiculous behavior by a prominent talking head. I'm always glad people are finally coming around on Bilas

I'm glad the committee isn't influenced by the talking heads or Duke would be a 1 seed, Syracuse would have gotten in and the ACC would have received 15 bids.
The irony about this is how Duke fans for years have complained about Bilas. He has always tended to take the pro-UNC stance, both with their teams and with their off the court problems. (He acted like a personal agent for PJ Hairston during his suspension.)
To be honest I've always kind of had a "yea right" thought at all the Bilas love here and elsewhere. Now all of a sudden he is sternly making a pro-Duke argument on something and he's immediately thrown away all this collateral and good will that he had built up.

Whenever I see you username, I get an immediate mental picture of Dick Fick going to town with a honey-baked. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
