Anyone see that crap?
Lunardi has the teams ranked by % chance for a 1 seed. UVA Duke UNC Tennessee Michigan Michigan State Kentucky Gonzaga. In that order. In what ****ing world are we a lower shot than those teams save Gonzaga. Absolute garbage son.

Yea had to rewind and look at that total **** stuff...[sick]

This list is terrible
1- 1 top 10 win (home game), didn’t make conference championship game
2- seton hall, bama, duke game
3- 1 top 10 win and that was over an overhyped mid major
4- 1-2 vs top 25.
Oh really. What's your list then? UNC which got destroyed by UK and their biggest wins were against Zionless Duke? Or Do you take Duke and forget all their losses including Syracuse for christ sake. There are no super teams this year. All teams have their worts. That list was the best based on body of work.

There is ZERO doubt that Cal calling him out about pushing for Duke to be a 1 stuck in his craw. He ha been a straight up tool ever since.

I forget..do we still hate Laetner?

The problem with this ACC deserves 3 #1s crap is the Jay Bilas's of the world are trying to have it both ways. They want Duke to jump over teams because the bulk of their losses were without Zion. However they also want North Carolina to jump over UK and UT because they beat Duke twice. Neglecting the fact that Zion missed both of those games. So which is it. If Zion going out matters then UNC can't move ahead of other teams due to a tainted win. On the other hand if Zion being out doesn't matter and you are going purely off the formula then Duke can't negate the losses it took when Zion was out.

Realistically speaking the actual order should be this:

#1 Virginia
#2 UK
#3 UT
#4 Gonzaga
#5 Duke
#6 UNC

I can defend the ACC only getting 1 #1 seed.

This is nothing new.

I don't know what happened to Bilas, every since he took over for Dick Vitale he has increasingly become more of an I'm right and everyone else is not when he lets out a Bilas indignation.... NO energy or insight calling games. Boring, Dull......

The biggest sin is that you really never learn anything about the game when he calls a game. No insight whatsoever.

Even Dan Dakich is more informative that he is, I can't believe I typed that, I can't stand Dakich...... what is the world coming to....

Dakich is light years better calling a game than Bilas, He might point out a bad call now and then but he moves on. Bilas drones on about it forever. And then he brings up some topic unrelated to the game and harps on that for 5 mins.

That and he throws out stupid nonsense phrases that are supposed to pass for analysis. "What Louisville needs to do is pump fake". Anyone remember that nonsense. As if a pump fake would have changed the out come of that game. Even Dakich started making fun of him over that non sense.

They are basing it on BPI, which actually has zero to do with seeding.

Says the one line is Duke, UVA, UNC, Gonzaga.

No discussion.

It’s over.

He.Is.The.Worst.Ever.

His mouth is running like 2017 all over again. Carrying water for the ACC.
I'm going to keep saying. Why do you all keep watching him and listening to him? Why do you care what he says or thinks? Who cares?

I don't care at all what he says or thinks. He's just a bunch of hot air. He literally said it was harder to win the ACCT than to get to a FF. He's a mouth that says nothing.

Head to head certainly isn't everything, but it's worth noting that UK beat UNC on a neutral court, and UT also beat Gonzaga on a neutral court. Every team in the top 10 would have the same record as Gonzaga against that schedule. Houston's resume is arguably as good as Gonzaga's.

Yet, there should be no discussion about who deserves a number 1?

What does UNC have over UK (especially if UK wins today)?

"But UK has a blowout loss to Duke in the first game of the season."
Well, UNC lost by 20+ to Louisville in conference play.

"But UK lost on a buzzer beater in OT in the first week of December to an NCAA tournament team Seton Hall."
Well, UNC lost to a bubble team Texas the week before.

"But UK lost by 19 to UT on the road without one of its most important players."
Well, UNC lost at Michigan by 17.

"But UK lost on a controversial call at home to LSU."
Well, UNC lost by 8 at home by Virginia.

"But UK lost at Alabama."
Well, UNC got worked by UK head to head on a neutral court.

All UNC has over UK is 2 wins over Duke, but you have to acknowledge they were playing without the NPOY both times. And they lost to Duke on a neutral floor the only time he played against them. Hypothetically if UK were to win today, it would also own 2 wins over a top 6 team who had all their key pieces in place.

Jay Bilas is a sorry excuse for a sports journalist. He's a a homer who shills for the ones he adores. He's a marketing mouthpiece who unfortunately has a national platform. He's just as biased as your average Rupp's Rafters poster, and it's just as obvious.

Screw Bilas and all his bald headed buddies
Except Andy Kennedy. He’s been very complimentary.
They’ll start dropping like flies on the second weekend

Sure give UVA another #1... they can't even get to the final in their conference tournament and haven't done a damn thing in March.

Anyone putting Gonzaga ahead of Kentucky as a #1 seed needs to be fired. Instantly.

But they went 4-3 in Quad 1 and beat Dook, Creighton, St. Marys and SF(Barely at 74th LOL).

FL beat Top 10 LSU among others and only moved from 33rd before the SEC tourney started to 31 today. 1 spot off a Quad 1 win for us yet SF is hanging at 74th all week to keep the Zags with 4 Quad 1 wins instead of 3-3. SF ahead of Vermont and Northeastern who both won their conference and have better records in similar ****** conferences. Agenda?

Just 2 spots separate us from another Quad 1 win and the Zags dropping to 3. If they wanted to have FL at 33rd before the SEC you have to move them up at last 5 spots after beating the 1 seed in the SEC. UCF, Marquette and Maryland all right in front of FL and all lost and at home watching.

Juck Fay Bilas
Blas doesn't even try to temper his Dook/ACC love. He gets so excited. I used to actually like him and now I can't look at his Frankenstein face. I bet he is on his knees right now in front of coach K ready to serve and looking up at this.

I'll just be really happy after today when the coverage all switches to CBS, TNT, etc.

Unfortunately, that happiness wil only last through the first round once I remember how insufferable Kenny Smith is.

My list:

1. UVA- best record among major conferences at 30-3. ACC regular season co-champs.
2. Duke- most talented team, but injuries are part of the game and those games should count.
3. UK- most Quad 1 wins in the nation, I believe.
4. Zaga- 31-3 is the best record in the nation. Played a decent OOC schedule.
5. UNC- ACC regular season co-champs, beat Duke twice (doesn't matter who was injured).
6. UT- could move up past UNC with a win today.
7. Michigan St.- top team in the Big 10.
8. Michigan- flip flop them and MSU if the win the Big 10T.

A lot of people are saying if Duke wins tonight, they are the top seed. I have no problem with that.

However, if UK wins two more quality games, they should move up as well. Why reward Duke for winning and not UK?

And if UT gets two more quality wins, they should climb over a couple of teams at least. UT beats us, they should be 3 and we should be 4, but Zaga and UNC shouldn't jump us since they can't play anymore games.

If UK loses, I can't justify dropping UK below UNC when they both lost in the semis of their tourney to a 1 seed and both have 6 losses, yet UK has more Quad 1 wins and a head to head win over them.

So, if UK loses it should be Duke, UVA, and UT with UK or Zaga as the last 1 seed. UNC should not be in the equation, IMHO. Actually, UM and MSU are still playing so one should jump UNC, IMHO.

They weigh the ACC too heavily, IMHO. These other conferences are pretty good and those teams are still playing.

Here's his top seeds:

1. Duke with a healthy Zion
2. Duke with a somewhat hobbled Zion
3. Duke without Zion
4. Duke's bench
