How the hell did Turley muscle out of that one? Win or lose kids just going to go for it.
Losing 11-9 to the #2 seed the way he did by going for it the whole match was impressive. He gets his conditioning up he's going to be an AA caliber wrestler.
Ridge Lovett went from 133 last year to 149 this year and looks fine.. even took out max murin... wish Alvarez would have done the same.. I usually see when a wrestler doesn’t focus on dropping so much weight and bump up they tend to do better...

Poz has that quick twitch and explosion. Was about to scream you gave up a takedown at the end of the period last go around, then within an instant he pins the kid.

Colluci needs 2 wins, then win the 7th place match HWT has 7 bids.
I’m not positive but I would think this will be the last round this session. Then they’ll do the next WB while the semis go on, which allows the losers to fall into the subsequent WB round.
I thought it was 7 autos in every class except 6 at 149 and heavy and 5 at 197. Did they add one to each weight class? I missed something I guess
7 autos plus an automatic for the champion. It was a bit confusing how it was listed.
If you are looking at the NCAA page with allocations, for some reason they list the the weights with say 7 and then if you scroll down, they list 1 for the champ(I like Flo's chart better where it just lists the number). So whatever the NCAA chart has add the champ.
That's not fair. He may not be an all-star but he has given this program everything he has. If they made it a movie he would be our Rudi.
