This is pure speculation- is snag sitting out for the year to not waste a year of eligibility? Just don’t get what’s going on and it seems like Steve Pikiell doesn’t either. Both are problems.

we need a leader. A Geo/Ron/Paul. No one seems to have stepped into that role.

they need to communicate better, talk to each other on the floor
Richie reported Paul was not getting a long with his teammates but we could use a leader for sure

I'm sure you meant Mag and I agree 100%. We need him back asap, and maybe just maybe the team starts jelling after a couple more weeks playing together and we start looking like a post-season team. I'm beginning to wonder if he sees a lost season here and doesn't want to risk re-injury, staying healthy for 1) to play with the star recruits coming in next year or 2) for a bigger transfer NIL deal.

Richie shared Paul was the problem
Not 100% true. Paul and apparently Cam didn’t get along with others for many basketball reasons. A lot of those reason are showing this year. Paul had a very high intensity level and some others did not appreciate it / couldn’t handle it. Go figure.

We need to hit the weights. We get pushed around every night
While I agree that would help, you can still be muscular and soft mentally. Sometimes it’s not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog. This team seems they’re ok getting pushed around. Flip that mental switch. They need a chip on their shoulder. Where’s the heart? Where’s the f around and find out attitude? Where’s Derek at PSU last year? I think a rough and tumble mental attitude would help more than weights right now.

The frontcourt is the problem as the primary issue above all else is rebounding.

Some won’t like this question, but ask yourself what this team would looked like right now if you swapped out Cliff for MJ on the roster? Before you bring up Cliff’s offense, recall the rate that we’re turning it over trying unsuccessfully to get him those so called automatic lobs….

The biggest problem is mag is now considering sitting out the entire year as a "business decision" despite the fact we already paid him for the year

Should Pike dismiss him from the team if he is medically cleared and refuses to play?
If he’s saying he just doesn’t want to play, then, yeah. But he’s probably not saying that. He’s probably saying he may wait until next year. Problem is we need him now and there’s no guarantee he doesn’t put his name in the portal the day the season ends. He’s still a practice body for Pike so he probably figures it’s better not to burn the bridge and wait it out.

No, it's being reported elsewhere he's considering sitting as a business decision and pike will have to fight to keep him next year aka pay him (again). If true, total PoS move

Whatever we paid him should be returned if he doesn’t play based on a business decision. We’re complete idiots if we paid him with an opt out clause that gave him the right to collect and decide he just doesn’t feel like suiting up.

He’d be a real dick if he goes to the portal after the season after using Rutgers this year and refusing to play

The money could've gone to others. There was a group effort to step up and pay mag a hefty sum

Cliff needs very specific help because he in not very physical. Thought the Wolf would be perfect complement but it doesn't work out that way. We do not collapse on rebounds. We don't box out.
